CAES MANRRS students traveled to Chicago, Illinois to attend the National MANRRS Conference last week✈️ They competed in the MANRRS bowl where they won the first round🎉 and they also had the opportunity to learn from industry leaders like the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Thomas J. Vilsack. These CAES students also enjoyed meeting MANRRS members from across the entire country! We’re proud of these students and the way they represented the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences - congrats!!🎉🎉

Each year, GAC is proud to sponsor the UGA CAES Ag Fellowship Program in Washington, D.C. These College of Ag students get to spend the summer interning with members of the House and Senate ag committees from Georgia. We were happy to catch up with this years group of impressive fellows on a recent trip to DC. We discussed their experiences in Washington and talked about future opportunities for them within Agribusiness.
Today is the day! Congratulations to the CAES Class of 2022! We look forward to celebrating you tonight at convocation and tomorrow at commencement! Don’t forget to tag us in your photos!

Poultry Science student, Chris Ayers and Biochemical Engineering student Jeffery Whitmire teamed up to develop Chiktopia, a company aiming to assist free-range poultry producers with automation and efficiency through their design of a chicken tractor!
