I’ve been working away in sketchbooks lately. Enjoying the fun part of art making and trying to keep the momentum going. It always seems like the more you paint, the more you wanna keep painting.

Meh. Not crazy about this one but glad I did it. Daily stuff is hard but you learn so much.

I brought a tiny sketchbook on our walk this morning and while Rosie was going at a hickory nut, I sketched this little scene. Came home and redrew it in the slightly bigger sketchbook with some color. 🪿

Fast silly sketch remembering our walk this morning. Everything’s starting to wake up and I don’t want to miss it.

Reworking this painting. Not sure it’s there yet but I like where it’s going.

Went to visit the family in Georgia and noticed the hellebores are blooming.

Hey thanks for your kind words about my paintings. Here’s another one finished and in the shop. My 40th birthday present to myself was to grab the paints and the dog and head out for some plein air. This one is from that day.
