It’s BACK and EXCITING TO WATCH….
FRIDAY 8/23 and SATURDAY 8/24 at the fairgrounds. Come on down Friday evening and Saturday afternoon for some fun thrilled motorcycle racing at the Athens County Fairgrounds. Concessions will be available….
Gate fee is $10 per person…..

New for 2024… FIREWORKS SHOW (approx 20-25min show)… Friday night at 9:30…. Starting at 8:00pm VIP VIEWING on the grounds. Bring the whole family, load up the car or truck… IT WILL ONLY COST YOU $10 per CAR LOAD.

The Athens County Fair has come to an end for 2024. Would like to give a huge thanks to all the parents, exhibitors, families, sponsors, and especially to our volunteers, without each and everyone of you this would not have been possible. Thanks to all of those that that paid admission at the gate, bought memberships and season passes, without you folks this also, would not be possible. Special thanks goes out to the buyers that came in Friday afternoon/evening to help these kids and purchase their completed projects. Thanks to Chicketti Family Amusements who joined us this year and brought a lot of family fun back to the Athens County Fair. Thanks again and here’s to the beginning of planning for 2025. Thanks again, all the help is much appreciated.

Reminder !!!
All reserved camping and parking spots need paid in full by close of fair Saturday night. Non-payment of camping/parking spaces will result in loss of spot for 2025 Athens County Fair unless arrangements have been made. Reminder….Sub-Leasing a camping spot that is in your name is against the camping rules, if this is found to be the case, this can result in loss of space for 2025.

Another great day at the Fair coming tomorrow. Sale tomorrow, and KOI drag racing starts in the evening.

Demo Derby night at the fair. Big crowd at the track and more on the midway. Come on down to the Athens County Fair and have a good time. Rain or shine it’s going to happen!!!!!!

Last chance exhibitors, you have just under 1 hour to get your sale slips into sale committee. If this is not completed, you will not sale Friday night!!!! Do not wait till last minute, any questions, call the number on bottom of this picture.

Another big night ahead, The Demo Derby with a guaranteed purse. Looking for another big night of entertainment. The midway is rocking and lit up every night. Come and join the fun at the Athens County Fair, whether it is at the Demo or riding some great rides. The midway hasn’t seen this much light in a long time. Come on out and have some fun and eat some fair food!!!!

Weekly Ride wristband ….Available in Fair office for those that have membership/season/ 4-H /FFA exhibitor and/or daily passes. This equals out to $6 per day……Prices are as follows…
Wednesday - $24
Thursday - $18
Friday - $12
Saturday- $6

In place of the sale coupon, we are using a QR Code. Deadline for submission is 9AM tomorrow morning, Thursday August 8th. QR codes can be found in each barn, both show arenas and the sale committee building. This form is to be used for the animal that you will be selling though the sale on Friday as well as if you have an animal that you want to send to the packer or processor. Any questions, please come to the Sale Committee building.

Listen up STUDENTS!!!!
We are planning on having student sections set up in front of of grandstand. They will be marked off. Come and have a great time cheering for your school colors!!! A travel trophy will given to winning school!

Buses are painted up and ready, only thing left is to crash’em up. The traveling trophy is ready to go to the winning school.

Just a quick light up of the midway, we have not only kiddie rides but rides for the older kids too….

Rides are going, and even our Fairboard President is running rides….We apologize for rides being delayed, there were circumstances beyond our control. We are here and most rides are moving!!!! It’s fun for us seeing the young kids having a great time and hearing all the laughs.

Another great day at the fair is on tap!!!! Lots of Jr Fair shows happening. Rides open up at 3pm, hilltop is full of entertainment that includes rides, circus, laser tag, games, miniature golf, etc. Motocross happening on the grandstand to finish off the night. Come and enjoy a great day at the fair.
