To prepare your skin for this treatment, there are two essential steps to follow:

~Avoid direct sunlight exposure for at least 24 hours, unless you apply strong SPF protection to shield your skin. Prolonged sun exposure, including tanning beds, could lead to skin irritation during the treatment.
~Temporarily discontinue the use of specific skincare products, especially retinoids and acid-based products like azelaic acid, glycolic acid, or salicylic acid. Although these products are beneficial for skin health and appearance, it's important not to use them right before or after a microneedle treatment to prevent potential skin irritation or excessive dryness. If you are on blood-thinning medication, consider pausing it for one to three days before your appointment.
