Nurse Injector, Ivette Ballara, Will Be Rejoining Our Team On June 3rd!

Ivette, who served as an injector for us a few years back, is returning to the team, and we’re thrilled to have her back!

Ivette grew up in Southwest Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida, Magna Cum Laude, in 2005, with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Since graduating, she has focused her career on dermatology and plastic surgery, with an emphasis on enhancement and rejuvenation of the face, using cosmetic injectables. She is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, and American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses. Ivette uses advanced techniques to achieve optimal results, and with her extensive experience and reputation, she has built a busy and thriving injectables practice. Her favorite procedure to perform is the correction of under-eye hollowing, and her specialty is achieving natural and refreshed results.

Ivette is currently working on her Master’s Degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in dermatology. She very much looks forward to serving her patients with both their general dermatological needs and their aesthetic injectable needs.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Ivette speaks fluent English and Spanish. Aside from making patients feel great about their appearance, through nonsurgical treatments, her personal passions include spending time with her family and friends, including her two young boys, Nathaniel and Sebastian; cooking, gardening, and relaxing on the beach.

HOW FRACTIONATED CO2 LASER SKIN RESURFACING WORKS

Lasers are the cornerstone of serious skin rejuvenation. For those that need to improve the texture and quality of their skin, there’s no better treatment than a fractionated CO2 laser. Originally, CO2 laser treatments were known to be super aggressive with significant risks and downtime. However, as science continues to evolve, so do these lasers, and fractionated versions make them more tolerable with less downtime. When it comes to lasers, there’s pretty much no skin concern that they can’t correct, and the stronger the laser, the better the results. Fractionated CO2 lasers are the most powerful, which is why they’re prescribed for improving stubborn pigment, sun damage, scars, and wrinkles.

All lasers work on the same premise: delivering a beam of a specific wavelength allows it to be absorbed by the skin, stimulate collagen and either ablate or not ablate the uppermost layers of skin.
