I honestly thought that after having my baby is when I’d crave alcohol and it’ll be a challenge for me. But I haven’t 👏🏾 I’ve even been around alcohol and the thought to drink hasn’t crossed my mind. I’m not going to lie, being pregnant gave me that boost I needed. Here’s to my journey ✨

👏🏾👏🏾 this is a huge milestone for me. And yes I’m counting the days while pregnant. I went 5 months last time I stopped drinking but then I went back to Colorado 1/2021, the root of the problem and broke sobriety. I kept drinking from there. 11/11/21 I decided to stop again and found out I was pregnant 11/18. About 5 months into my pregnancy, I decided that I really just don’t want to drink anymore. I stopped for a reason and need to stay strong. I believe my daughter will give me that push I need to stay sober. Drinking for me just isn’t what it used to be. I’ve abused it to the point I can’t enjoy it. Everyone’s journey is different and this is mine ✨

Good morning. This page was created while I was on my sobriety journey. I went 5 months without any alcohol. (8/2020-1/2021) I began drinking again sadly. On 11/11/21 I decided I needed to give sobriety another chance and cut out alcohol. Exactly a week later I found out I’m expecting. I’m now 32 weeks and 2 days. It’s been heavy on my heart to continue this journey after I give birth. I’m being very honest here, it scares me a bit to say I’ll quit forever. But I know deep down I want to and need to. So please continue following me on my mission ✨
