Inspiration from

love letters to yourself are the most important ones! 💗

I created this little set of reminders, or mantras, to help when you’re feeling anxious. Anxiety puts you in the future, these statements bring you back to this moment and how you feel right now.

The trick is repetition. Saying it to yourself over and over - the focused attention is what can provide relief when you’re having an anxious moment.

Some of us have talked about our anxiety being high in the morning - with a new day before us, new tasks at work, new obstacles- it’s easy to get ahead of yourself and it’s human too. Don’t beat yourself up; just bring it back. 🌱

Falling in love with yourself is the first secret to happiness. Take a moment today to appreciate your own journey and celebrate your unique beauty. 💖✨ ”

Advice from

Hobbies you need and why.

I love exploring new hobbies and things to keep my busy and grow as a person. These are the 6 kind of hobbies you need -

Practice being mindful and in the moment

Make sure you have something that increases your activity to keep you fit.

Be kind not only to others but to yourself, so that could be volunteering or just general everyday help and support

Be crafty and arty! My fave one! You learn a wonderful skill and it makes you feel better.

Side hustles - had to add this in there even if it is small atm, something that brings in some extra cash so you are not solely focused on one income.

Learn something new as often as you can- never stop!!

Tell me some hobbies you have that fit in to one of these?! Do you agree that they are needed to grow as a person?!

Follow me👉🏼.in.finance for daily personal finance tips!

Teaching kids about money doesn’t have to be scary, it can be fun. Here’s a list of ideas for you to implement conversations around money at different ages.

The good news is, if you’re a parent, it’s easy to turn normal activities into money learning experiences for your kids! My mom was great at this! She allowed me to pay at the grocery store and count money at garage sales. She taught me how to budget, use credit cards, and always pay them in full. She used her financial hurdles as a way to help me learn so I wouldn’t make the same money mistakes, and for that, I’m forever grateful.

You can do the same.

📕Elementary School: You can buy them books about money, let them pay at the grocery store, give them an allowance for chores, and show them how to save.

📙Middle School: You can explain compound interest, open up a bank account with a debit card, create a vision board with them, and help them save for a specific goal they have.

📗High School: You can encourage them to get a summer job, teach them everything to know about credit scores, introduce them to investing, and talk about the ROI of college/education after high school.

📘College: At this age you can explain how they’re taxed on their income from job, help them budget for their expenses, teach them about employer benefits, and encourage finance as a personal interest.

📲 Want to get started investing for yourself? Comment below GUIDE and I’ll DM you my free investing guide right now. Share it with your high school kids!

🎓 Trade School vs. College: What’s the Difference?

🔧 Trade School:
- Hands-on training in specific skills like carpentry, plumbing, or electrician work.
- Typically shorter programs, often 1-2 years.
- Focus on practical experience and job-ready skills.
- Less expensive tuition compared to college.
- Ideal for those who prefer hands-on learning and want to enter the workforce sooner.

📚 College:
- Offers a broader education with a variety of subjects, including liberal arts, sciences, and specialized fields.
- Longer programs, usually 2-4 years for an associate degree and 4+ years for a bachelor’s degree.
- Emphasis on theory, critical thinking, and research.
- Higher tuition costs, but financial aid options available.
- Great for those seeking a well-rounded education and potential for higher-paying jobs.

Both options are valuable pathways to success, and the choice depends on your interests, goals, and learning style. At , we empower all children transitioning to adulthood by providing guidance and resources for both trade school and college options. 💼✨
