Mental Health Matters...
Good Friday is Here!
In a season where many are experiencing what feels like heavy persecution to the physical, mental, spiritual and even emotional Body of Christ, I find myself meditating on the life of Judas in relation to Christ’s death.
I am always amazed at new insights or reinforced messages found in God’s living word. Judas reminds me of the sovereignty of God and encourages me that in everything we face —God has purpose prewritten in it for our sake and His glory. Nothing catches Him by surprise!
The life, torment and ultimate death of Christ was for our GOOD.
As we navigate poverty, loss, lack of unity in the Body, rumors of wars, food insecurities, mental health challenges, health disparities, even joy and peace, let us lean into God’s Good work done on the cross on our behalf. He will finish what He started and “it’s all good!”
Support Walking Anew as we seek to be Christ’s arms to those He sends us to.

Happy Women's Equality Day!
This morning we distributed the supplies from our Back-to-School Fundraiser to Herman J. Russell Middle School. We were welcomed to the school by Alexius Walker. We also enjoyed meeting Eric White (Communities in Schools) and Marc Venzen (Assistant Principal). They were all surprised and gracious for the donations raised in partnership with Cornerstone Church.
We want to Thank Cornerstone Church and everyone who volunteered their time and donated supplies to the back-to-school fundraiser!
