Sam and I was at Target store yesterday The couple near the cart didn't have enough money for their purchase. The lady in the green shirt started to hand things back to the cashier to be able to afford what she had. The lady in the black shirt came out from her lane and said you don't need to return anything I will pay for the whole thing. She pulled out her card and did just that. The lady in the green shirt started to cry. We all just experienced such kindness. What a great story to share amongst all this pain in he world.

August 8, 1982. A line drive foul ball hits a four year old boy in the head at Fenway. Jim Rice, realizing in a flash that it would take EMTs too long to arrive and cut through the crowd, sprang from the dugout and scooped up the boy. He laid the boy gently on the dugout floor, where the Red Sox medical team began to treat him.
When the boy arrived at the hospital 30 minutes later, doctors said, without a doubt that Jim's prompt actions saved the boy's life. Jim returned to the game in a blood-stained uniform. A real badge of courage. After visiting the boy in the hospital, and realizing the family was of modest means, he stopped by the business office and instructed that the bill be sent to him.
This is what a sports Hero looks like! .

This fine young man came into my life 5 years ago. He Walked up behind me with a hair cut that was 5 months past due and a big hole in his shirt & one sock on his foot. He tugged on the back of my shirt and said, sir can you teach me how to play football. I responded- son I teach a lot more then just how to play football. His response was OK. I then said son where is your mom and dad at football isn't cheap? He responded My mom died and I don't know where dad is, but my Auntie takes care of me. God spoke to me that second and told me to take care of him in every way. God said to me "be a Shepard". Not knowing that day The lord gave me another son who would change me and him for ever. I have never been more proud to sit at a 8th grade promotion as I was today. I reflected on the 4 national titles and all the state championships we won together. But I reflected most on how Jesus dropped him into my life like a stork from the sky and how far he has come since that day. God gave him the best Aunt you can ever ask for. I Love you Marquise! And the Lord gave us 4 more years of HS football together.
