Kiddos Clubhouse-Perimeter

Our Kiddo for the Month of February is Aaron! This little one receives OT, PT, Speech and ABA therapy at Kiddos’ Perimeter. He has grown so much during his time here and is always down for making a mess! His physical therapist says that “Aaron has made so many great strides! He makes me laugh every day and has some serious dance moves!”. Congrats Aaron!

Also, February 15th was Angelman’s Awareness day and a very special day for Aaron! His mom provided a quote about how great the Angelman foundation has been for their family! If you’re interested in learning more or figuring out ways to get involved follow the link!

It was “snowing” at Kiddos’ Clubhouse yesterday. All the kiddos loved playing with the snow sensory box that one of our occupational therapists, Ms. Alicia made! If you would like the know how to make your own snow, just ask your therapist. ❄️

Reminder Kiddos’ Clubhouse will be OPEN on Monday 1/16/2023.

We want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Reminder the clinic will be closed tomorrow 1/2/2023. We look forward to seeing everyone back in the clinic on Tuesday!!

Our kiddo of the month for December has made amazing progress in therapy. She currently attends PT, OT and ST at Kiddos’ Clubhouse. Her speech therapist shared “she is a true warrior! She takes on any hurdle that comes her way and does it with the biggest smile on her face. She has a laugh that is contagious and brightens up any room she is in. She’s worked so hard in all of her speech sessions and loves showing off her labeling skills to others!”
She loves balancing things on her foot, reading, talking and hanging out with her daddy. Her favorite movie is Encanto, her favorite colors are purple and green and she has an older brother and younger brother. $100 contribution will be made in her honor to the Vein of Galen Support Network. I am so happy to share that our December kiddo of the month is LAYLA!!

It’s that time of the year. ❄️ We are making gingerbread houses at Kiddos’ Clubhouse!

If you don’t get face on your paint, did you even go to OT? Ms. Emily and her friend are working on sensory tolerance by placing non-toxic paint on their faces.

What are you thankful for this season? We’re thankful for the many friends we’ve made at Kiddos’!!

Did you know October was Physical Therapy month? Help us celebrate Ms. Lindsey for physical therapy month. We are so happy she works at Kiddos Clubhouse-Perimeter and her families love her.

Get to know Ms. Lindsey:
She loves to stay home and play with her cat Mango. If she was not a physical therapist she would be a paleontologist 🦴. She loves working as a physical therapist because she is able to help kiddos reach their highest potential by disguising work as play! She also loves all the creativity needed that goes into fun and innovative activities. Ms. Lindsey is also in charge of our Instagram kiddos_perimeter. Fun around the Clubhouse for pajama week!

Happy Boss’ Day to our owner, Ms. Nell! Thank you so much for all your hard work and all you do for the therapists and kiddos! We all appreciate you!

We loved seeing all the character costumes this past week. Next up, pajama week! This week we will be working on ”trick or treat” skills by placing baskets with prizes in each treatment room. Happy spooky season!

Starting spooky season off right with “Favortie Sports Team Week.” We had a lot of Falcon and Braves fans! Next week is “Favorite Character Week.” We cannot wait to see your costumes!

Spooky season is here! Happy October everyone! Families - don’t forget your kiddo can dress up for the entire month of October. The themes are listed below.

We will be playing themed games, practicing our “trick or treat” skills and making crafts!

Finishing out the month with celebrating our kiddo of the month for September. Congratulations Nirvaan! We are so proud of all your hard work at Kiddos’ Clubhouse in speech, occupational, physical and ABA therapy. Nirvaan loves Cocomelon and the color red. His ABA therapists shared that Nirvaan loves to play basketball and for them to cheer for him. Keep up the great work!

We are so proud of Jessi for making great progress in occupational and speech therapy. We will miss seeing her smiling face at the clubhouse!
