THIS is fu***ng art.

It's the backboard that was behind
the dart boards at Church.
I wish I had more walls at home
but this is almost as amazing
as a tabletop I got from Royce Soble
years ago that was their art table.

Anybody need some fabulous, organic art?

I've said one day we'd get a call
that a car has gone through the building
at SISTER LOUISA'S CHURCH OF THE LIVING ROOM & PING PONG EMPORIUM
on the corner of Edgewood and Boulevard.

Well.
This morning was that call,
that day.

APD stayed until I got there
to ensure the security of the building.
🙌

Lord knows I'm a lucky sucker
as I already had plywood cut
from when he had a drive by
Sister Louisa Art Show
when we were closed
during the pandemic.

I scrolled back to the pics
of the art show during the pandemic,
found which piece of plywood art
was cut to size for that window,
popped it in place in the dark,
and we're back in business.

Kids,
It's not what happens to you in life,
it's how you process the s**t that comes your way,
it's what you learn from it,
and it's making the decision
to make a positive pivot.
