Each year, Down7Up8, Inc. hosts its Boys to Men program and Princess for a Day event, where young boys and girls are treated like royalty and receive gifts donated by members of our community.

This year, we were honored to receive brand new ties and dress socks from an anonymous recipient, which we were thrilled to share with our children.

We are deeply grateful for the generosity of our community and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact together.

Please join Fostering LIFE for our 2nd Annual Fostering LIFE Day Family Fun Day, including a 5K/1-mile fun run (or walk) and family festival.

The event will take place on Sunday, May 21st, in Grant Park. There will be a live DJ, plenty of food, games, yoga, art, and much more. This event is FREE for all foster parents and fosters youth!

💜 National Social Work Month, celebrated every March, uplifts the social workers of our country and recognizes their constant contributions to our society. It's not an easy task, but these professionals use sociology and psychology to address social problems and enhance people's lives. Even though social work can be emotionally taxing, demanding, and poorly compensated, these superhumans work tirelessly each day to enhance the lives of numerous people and advocate on their behalf.
