A 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck Haiti this morning
For scale, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12, 2010, left between 220,000 and 300,000 people dead and injured hundreds of thousands more.
Please pray:
- That there will be enough healthcare professionals to care for the injured
- That food and clean water will remain available
- That rescue efforts will be successful for those who are trapped under the rubble
Friends, we ask you to join us in prayer for the nation of Haiti.
Early this morning Haitian President Jovenel Moïse was assassinated in an attack on his private residence. First Lady Martine Moïse was shot as well, though her condition is unconfirmed at this time. Haiti’s borders and international airport are closed and martial law has been imposed after Haiti’s acting prime minister declared a “state of siege”.
We can thankfully report that our staff is safe at this time, but this tragedy comes in the midst of a time of great uncertainty and turmoil. We ask you to please pray for peace and comfort for Haiti and it’s people right now.
Change is good..

Pray For Protection During This Pandemic
Due to new cases of COVID-19 in Haiti we have decided to suspend all programs to protect the staff and student athletes. Please pray for them and the entire country as they respond to this pandemic. May the Lord protect this land.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

Pray For Peace In Haiti
Brothers.
Thankful for the support that gives FCA an opportunity to feed our student-athletes spiritually and physically.
2019 Recap
“For nothing will be impossible with God.”
Luke 1:37
We are thankful for the resources to feed our student-athletes and our church partners in Haiti. Keep Praying!! Thank you for giving!
The political crisis in Haiti continues. It has led to extremely violent riots. The public services have halted and many have been killed in the demonstrations. Roads are blocked, all the schools are closed, rioters are barricading the streets, and the prices of food and fuel are higher than ever before. People are desperate and hungry. The cost for a small bag of rice has tripled in price!!!!
Today we ask that you consider giving specifically to feed the families that are connected to FCA Haiti. We have 144 students that are currently a part of our after school sports program in Haiti. We want to assist each of our students to provide meals for their family until the tension subsides.
No amount is too small. $10-$15-$20 or more. Please donate today at www.fcahaiti.org

FCA Haiti Dream Team!
We love seeing these beautiful smiles from our student athletes!!
Say hello to Coach Toussaint. He has been such a blessing to FCA Haiti and has faithfully served for 7 years. He has impacted so many student athletes in the basketball program and we are thankful to have him on our team!
On Monday we held a back to school sports event at the stadium. Several teams played and we gave out school supplies to all the kids who participated. Big thanks to the Haitian police officer who came out and spoke to the kids and helped hand out school supplies.
Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. - Hebrews 13:1
