🌟 A Heartfelt Message to Gold Star Families 🌟
As we approach this Thanksgiving, a time when gratitude and togetherness are celebrated, many Gold Star families are facing this holiday with a profound sense of loss and grief. I want you to know that you are not alone in your sorrow.

Though we may feel the void left by our fallen heroes more acutely during this holiday, let us also remember the incredible individuals they were and the legacy they have left behind. They lived lives of honor, valor, and selflessness, and their spirits will forever shine brightly in our hearts.

As we gather around the Thanksgiving table, let us cherish the memories we hold dear—the laughter, the joy, and the love we shared with our fallen heroes. Together, let us find solace in knowing that their sacrifices were not in vain and will never be forgotten.

To those who may not fully understand our grief, I ask for your compassion and empathy. Please take a moment to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our country. Offer a kind word, a listening ear, or a simple gesture of support to the Gold Star families in your lives. Your understanding and presence can make a world of difference.

To my fellow Gold Star mothers, fathers, spouses, siblings, and children, I send you my love, strength, and unwavering support. GratitudeAmerica, Inc., a nonprofit serving America’s veterans, is excited to announce our plans to develop a new retreat center to support healing and care for military service members, veterans and first responders in Crawford County, near the city of Warner Robins, Georgia.

The future GratitudeAmerica Center for Wellness facility will be located at 9359 Hwy 42 South, Ft. Valley, Georgia, on a picturesque property, complete with lush vegetation, towering trees and two large lakes. The property, which spans more than 150 acres, will be purpose-built for healing, to deliver proven programs and experiences to assist those affected by deployment exposures such as traumatic brain injury and combat-related stress. Every Gold Star Family has a story to tell. We want to share their story through recipes! Gold Star Families can may send in the recipe for their Hero's favorite dish. It is requested that a photo of your Hero, as well as a story why they enjoyed that particular recipe so much, accompany the recipe. We wish to honor our fallen Heroes by remembering their life, not the loss.

Categories will be appetizers, entrees, soups & salads, desserts, and more.

Our upcoming Military Support Retreat in Helen,GA June 1st-4th has 2 spots still available!

Military Support Retreats are a totally free experience for those who deployed to combat anytime during service & their support person to attend TOGETHER (adults only, no kiddos. Service member cannot attend solo).
-Our retreats are for all branches and include all duty statuses (active, retired, etc)
-Retreat begins Thursday at 5pm and ends Sunday at 2pm. You must be available to be present the entire time, & no late arrivals or early departures.
-Lodging, meals, and activities are provided. We aren't able to assist with round trip or daily transportation.
