You know as a kid I use to love getting with my family for the holidays but that’s hard now with everyone having there own life since the pandemic I’ve tried to get everybody together because of a conversation I had with my grandma I’ve went to the extent of getting everything planned out and priced just for folks to say I’m in and never speak about it again . I’ve just had to come to the understanding that if it ain’t in OHIO they don’t want to travel for it and I’ve accepted that. I love my family but it’s about time yall tried something NEW!!!
Happy Sunday how do you make your curry this was my first time and this was the ingredients:
3 lb Chicken
Produce
1 Bell pepper, medium
4 Carrots, medium
3 Garlic cloves
1 tsp Garlic powder
2 Green onions
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Parsley, dried
2 Russet potatoes, medium
1 Scotch bonnet peppers
1 tsp Thyme, dried
2 Thyme, fresh sprigs
Canned Goods
1 cup Chicken stock, organic
1 (14 oz.) can Coconut milk, full-fat
Condiments
1 tbsp Jamaican pepper sauce
Baking & Spices
1 tsp Allspice, ground
1 tsp Black pepper
2 tbsp Brown sugar, organic
4 1/2 tbsp Jamaican curry powder
2 tbsp Jamaican green seasoning
1/2 tsp Paprika, smoked
1 tsp Sea salt
1 Sea salt + black pepper
Oils & Vinegars
4 tbsp Olive oil, Extra virgin
Other
1-2 Tbsps browning, optional
Feeling like doing a pork butt …… season and marinate to put on the grill tonight for tomorrow
