Let’s bring the community back to Atlanta. We look forward to seeing you there!
I feel so blessed to be surrounded by amazing women of The Most High who lead by actions and thoughts. Every two weeks these wonderful women help me serve my community and blessed the lives of those who many have forgotten. When I hear people say there aren’t any good black women I always think of each and every woman who you see here. EVERY single one of these ladies walks in the righteousness of The Most High. The next time you think to yourself and wonder where all the good black women are.. think to yourself …. Where you’re looking for these women cause great black women aren’t going to be hanging out in clubs every night or on IG doing strange things for likes.
All Praise to The Most High.

Hey Atlanta! Do you want to support local black-owned businesses but can’t seem to find any? WHU is the solution!
WHU is building an online community full of resources and support. Our platform has been approved for individuals age 12 and up. Think of us as a safe place to come and connect with others.
Because we are a nonprofit, all services through our organization are free. No more paid listings!
Through our platform we WILL erase the effects of generational poverty in oppressed communities across Atlanta and the Metro Atlanta Area.
Let’s start with supporting black excellence by building out a community directory highlighting our favorite black and minority owned businesses. 💜
We are the change we’re looking for!

Marta Needs your Feedback
Marta is doing something new and needs your help. Marta needs help from its customers and the community to help them understand how you want to see the bus network redesigned.
As part of their NextGen Bus project, Marta is exploring two broad concepts:
•Coverage - Where buses cover a greater are but come less frequently
•Ridership - Where buses travel on busier corridors but come often
Listen community, we can not complain about what is going on around us if we do not get involved and be a part of the change we are looking for. We can not say our resources are being taken if we do not join these conversations.
I advise all communities in Atlanta to meet and discuss this issue during your next scheduled neighborhood meeting. If anyone needs help in organizing this effort, please email [email protected]

Thank you Monticello ATL, Chef Dione, and Chef Al for an amazing celebration of black history through culinary arts!
Our Young chefs learned
•how to properly clean meats 🍗 (under cold water and don’t forget the vinegar)
•how to prepare Jollof rice 🍚 (A traditional African Dish)
•how to keep a clean kitchen while prepping and cooking 🧼🧹 (clean as you cook)
•how to work as a team 👭🏽 (everyone has a role to play)
•how to make deserts 🍪 (give ample space between cookies before baking)
•how to prepare for a large catering event (be on time and prepared) 🧑🏿🍳👩🏽🍳
The most important lesson our Young Chefs learned is… they can achieve their goals of becoming a chef if they work hard and never stop believing. 💪🏾
Guess what Atlanta… the meal our Young Chefs prepared fed 48 homeless living in Atlanta.
Everyone give these young chefs a round of applause. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Stay tuned for our next Young Chef Club event… We’re going Vegan. 🥑🥗🥙🌯
As always Peace ☮️ & Blessings 🙏🏾 Atlanta Community and Communities around the world.

Does your child dream of one day becoming a chef 👩🏽🍳 🧑🏿🍳? How about one day running his/her own kitchen⏲?
In celebration 🍾 of Black History and black culinary arts 🎭 , WHU has collaborated with Monticello ATL, to bring the Young Chefs Club to Atlanta’s youths 👭🏽👩🏾🤝👨🏽.
