Being the first in your family to attend college can be overwhelming. The Enchanted Closet was blessed again this year to assist first generation college students going to Albany State University , Fort Valley State University, and Clark Atlanta University, and Oxford College. We also assisted for the first time students attending Georgia Gwinnett College. We appreciate the support of who advanced the College Care Packages for College Initiative for many years and whose outreach this year enabled us to expand our reach. We appreciate everyone who provides much needed financial donations that help us to provide supplies and book scholarships through this initiative.
For the 12th year, the Enchanted Closet, Inc. implemented our Enchanted Care Packages for College Initiative. Selected young ladies received goods to help reduce their financial burdens and aid their matriculation. We awarded dorm room bedding and supplies and
$10,250 in book scholarships thanks to our generous donors.

Way to go Leilani Armenta! She is a freshman soccer player at Jackson State University from Ventura, CA and was added to the football roster this week due to the team having injured players. She is the first woman player in Jackson State University football history and is believed to be the first woman to kick in HBCU Division I history.
She attended Saint Bonaventure High School where she played varsity football as a punter and kicker. In her varsity career at Saint Bonaventure High School, she earned five county kicking records.
We thank everyone who donated this year and made it possible for us provide Care Packages for College and $10,250 in scholarships for girls entering college this semester. We are preparing for future activities and would love to have your support. Our cash app is attached if you’d like to donate. No amount is too small. We thank you in advance! 💜

We’re praying for safe return of 25-year-old Carlee Russell who was reported missing after she called 911 and stopped to check on a toddler on the side of an Alabama highway on 13 July.
According to reports, her phone, Apple watch, and wallet were found in her vehicle that was still running when the police arrived. 🙏🏽
We honor our ancestors, their perseverance, and those who continue to fight for equity and social Justice.
