It is with unbearable grief and a breaking heart that I humbly ask for prayers of healing for my mother, Kaye Moore; manifesting God's mighty power for a miraculous recovery and total restoration of her health. Thursday night at approximately 9pm, she was transported by ambulance to Emory St. Joseph's Hospital due to excessive nausea and vomiting over the previous 24 hours. Her condition continued to deteriorate while waitng on bloodwork and initial test results. Doctors were unable to stabilize her and she was admitted to the intensive care unit after doctors were unable to stabilize her and it was determined that she had gone into septic shock. She also tested positive for COVID 19. They did a CT Colonography and found a perforation in her large intestine. Due to COVID 19 and her other health issues, the sepsis could not be treated with antibiotics alone and required immediate surgery to remove a portion of her large intestine leaving her with a colostomy bag. Saving her life was the most important thing! We could deal with anything else. An hour into the surgery, her doctor called me to report more bad news. There was NO blood supply to either her large intestine or her small instestine, effectually, her entire bowel had died. This posed a much greater risk to her life because you cannot live without the small intestine, therefore the necrotic tissue could not be removed and death would be imminent. The only option to try to save her life was to bring in a vascular surgeon to attempt an artificial bypass restoring blood flow to the bowel. The artificial vein was placed and she survived the 6 hour surgery, however, it will be 24-48 hours before they are able to determine whether the body has "accepted" or "rejected" the implant. The vascular surgeon has told me that the prognosis is not good and now would be the time to notify Nicholas Nick Sanchez. I have been unable to make contact with him though I have tried multiple times to do so. I AM NOT READY TO LOSE MY MOM AND I AM PRAYING FOR A MIRACLE! SO, I ASK ANYONE WHO READS THIS POST, TO TAKE A MOMENT & BOW YOUR HEAD WITH A HEALING PRAYER....EVEN THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW HER...IN JESUS' NAME I PRAY. AMEN!
