The most prestigious natonal honors awarded annually to the elite players, coaches & contributors to the game of basketball.

What a year for Dawn Staley of South Carolina Women's Basketball! 🏆 A few notes on our Werner Ladder Co Naismith Coach of the Year:
✅ Became the 5th coach to lead a team to 3 national titles - joining Geno Auriemma, Pat Summitt, Kim Mulkey and Tara VanDerveer. All 5 have been named the Werner Ladder Naismith Coach of the Year.
✅ The are the 10th team to finish the season undefeated with a perfect 39-0 record (first team since 2016).
✅ Bench outscored Iowa Women's Basketball bench 37-0 in the title game.
✅ Named the Werner Ladder Naismith Coach of the Year four of the last five years, including the last three years.
✅ Replacing all 5 starters from last year's Final Four team, has led the Gamecocks to 6 Final Fours in the last 9 tries.
