Information sought on missing teen from Conyers The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing 16-year-old Alicia Pope, who went missing from Conyers on Feb. 24.

This will be a very interesting court case to follow over the next few weeks…

Historic s*x trafficking trial against Red Roof Inns set for Tuesday in Atlanta The case involves 11 survivors suing Red Roof Inns, Inc. and related corporate entities. The allegations span from 2009 until 2018.

This past Saturday prior to my short trip to Destin, I got the opportunity to speak about 4Sarah and share my testimony at the Soroptimist International Southern Region conference in Peachtree City, Ga. After my presentation one of their members walked up to me and handed me a check for 4Sarah. I placed it on the podium so we could take pictures. I walked away and almost forgot about it but then realized someone gave me a check. I walked back to the podium to get the check and when I opened it up…the donation was for $10,000!!!

She blessed 4Sarah that day….as a nonprofit we are always trying to raise money but God sends us little reminders that the work we do is important.
Thank you to all the beautiful women in the Soroptimist group for the work they do…it’s encouraging to see how you not only support women in your community but continue to lift each other up through your dedication to your members.

On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at about 3:25 p.m., Genesis Holly left Newton County High School and is possibly in the Lithonia area of DeKalb County, Ga.

Genesis Holly is in foster care with the Rockdale County Department of Family and Children Services.
