As Pride Month draws to a close, we are thrilled to highlight a remarkable opportunity that our CEO, DrA, received. She was invited to the President's Pride Party on the White House Lawn. We were delighted to see familiar faces such as Dan Priester from and the Executive Director of Atlanta Pride Chris McCain from Atlanta Pride, as well as Secretary Pete Buttigieg and his husband, Chasten, who generously gifted Covenant House Georgia a few copies of his book, "I Have Something To Tell You." It was a wonderful celebration and a poignant reminder of the progress we still need to make toward achieving equality for all. 🏳️‍🌈

Juneteenth: a celebration of freedom, resilience, and unity. As we honor this historic day, let's continue to amplify Black voices, uplift Black joy, and stand together in the fight for equality.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dan and Nancy Robitaille for their generous donation toward our new gazebo, which they have dedicated to Todd Wilcher. Todd has provided immense peace and sanctuary to the youth of Covenant House Georgia, making it fitting for our new haven to bear his name and legacy. 💙💛

With her energetic 11-month-old son, Monte, Kaylin knows that maintaining a steady sleep schedule can be challenging. However, she finds solace knowing that her son's needs will be met. Since joining our Pregnant and Parenting Youth Program, Kaylin has gained peace of mind, knowing that essentials like attending doctor's appointments and securing meals are no longer sources of concern.

Help us in creating an unforgettable prom experience for our youth! We're looking for hairdressers, barbers, and makeup artists to join us from June 3rd to June 5th, between 9am and 9pm, and on June 6th, from 8am to 5pm.

Happy Mother's Day to all the incredible mother figures out there! 💐 Today, we celebrate the love, sacrifice, and endless support you provide every single day.

The moment a young person finds themselves on the street, they are at risk of abuse and violence. 81% of the young people at Covenant House Georgia have a history of, or are currently experiencing, mental health challenges stemming from years of trauma.

That is why our on-site behavioral health team is so critical to the work we do everyday. They are the experts in trauma-informed care and provide a variety of treatment services to our youth including substance abuse services and individual and group therapy.

Meet Kaylin, an impressive young mom at CHGA! 💐🌼

Kaylin embarked on her journey with us nearly a year ago, seeking to enhance the quality of life for herself and her three-month-old son, Monte. Embracing the support and resources provided by CHGA's Pregnant and Parenting Youth Program (PPY), she has demonstrated remarkable progress, carving a path toward a brighter future for herself and her child.

This incredible group of women invests so much love, time and energy into our youth, demonstrating unconditional love and relentless support.
