There's still time to register for our Thursday program, "Young Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders without Intellectual Deficits; Tricky Transitions to Adult Independence: A Panel Discussion." Meet our panelists!
The transition to adult independence presents unique challenges for neurodiverse young adults (18-35 years old) without co-occurring intellectual disabilities, including difficulties making and achieving long-term goals. The Atlanta Autism Consortium (AAC) gathered a diverse cross section of high functioning individuals, males and females equally, all uniquely on the autism spectrum, to discuss personal experiences in navigating the transition to adulthood.
Please join us to discuss their unique ASD perspectives of what helps, what does not help, and how to best support young adults with ASD.
This virtual event is free, but advanced registration is required. Learn more and register here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/5017148460655/WN_TdYyX1VcSxSGWQvRVygKzw

Seasons Grrrreatings 🎄
ACES BARKery is barking up the right trees...The Festival of Trees, that is... and we are unleashing all kinds of joy this season!
We are excited to be among the beautiful trees that now deck the halls of the Lawrenceville Arts Center campus at Aurora Theatre, Nov 23, 2023-Dec 23, 2023! From the whimsically clever to the breathtakingly spectacular, these trees have been decorated by local businesses and organizations to inspire us all to help others this holiday season.
Bring your new unwrapped toy, non-perishable grocery item, or pet-related item to place under your favorite tree (Our tree is upstairs💙🐾💛🐾❤️)!! Donations will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrenceville, BLACT ATL, Inc, Lawrenceville Co-Op, and Planned PEThood.
