Giving back to our community is one of the most important things to PRLP! We are so excited to bring back the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon to raise money for St. Jude Research Hospital. 100% of the donations will go directly to this extremely important cause. We welcome ALL families to join in this fundraiser. Please pass around our donation link to friends & family! We set a goal of $5,000 for PRLP! We hope you can participate in this amazing fundraiser!

St. Jude Trike-A-Thon St. Jude Trike-A-Thon is a free educational program that teaches preschool and daycare students bike safety and the importance of helping others while benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

ASSISTANT TEACHER OF THE MONTH✨

Our Assistant Teacher of the month is….Ms. Ja’Kierria!

Ms. Ja’Kierria is our Assistant Teacher, to our 9-month-old class over in the cottage! Ms. Ja’Kierria has been at PRLP for 3 years! She is the ultimate picture of dependability and is delightfully punctual! She is so incredibly gentle and patient and her babies are so loved! Ms. Ja’Kierria is extremely creative and comes up with stunning class crafts and decorations she makes herself! She has helped us tremendously with organizing our new resource room and making sure our teachers have all the supplies they need! She is always a teamplayer and helps us wherever we may need it!

BLACK HISTORY MONTH🤎. PRLP has been having an absolute blast this month learning about incredible black figures who have shaped our world today!

The kiddos have spent the month reading books, participating/leading activities, and making crafts all about Black History!

Our 4 & 5 year olds made posters dedicated to not only amazing black history of the past but black history being made right now! Celebrating the original trailblazers we know and love like Muhammad Ali and Ruby Bridges along with greats of today like Usain Bolt and Bubba Wallace!

February has been an incredible month to focus on love and unity…and PRLP has been loving every minute of it!

Our Assistant Teacher of the month is….Ms. Laura!

Ms. Laura is our Assistant Teacher, to our older 2 year old class! Ms. Laura has dedicated 26 years to PRLP! She is the ultimate picture of dependability and delightfully punctual! We are so thankful for her many years of dedication! She has seen PRLP through and through and has cared for so many lives! We will always love Ms. Laura!

Our Lead Teacher of the Month is….Ms. Tetra!

Ms. Tetra is currently our Lead Teacher for our younger 1-year-old class! She has worked here at PRLP for 2 years now! She is an absolute star over in the Cottage! Ms.Tetra is exceptionally kind and caring! She is extremely skilled at creating a flawless transition for her kiddos as they enter the toddler room! There are always a lot of kids in Ms. Tetras classes and she handles it with ease. One of our favorite things about Ms. Tetra is always smiling!

LEAD TEACHER OF THE MONTH✨ Our Assistant Teacher of the month is….Ms. Parsha!

Ms. Parsha is our Assistant Teacher, to our older 2 year old class! Ms. Parsha has been blessing us with her warm and cheerful demeanor for the past 14 years now! She is wonderful with many different age groups and is always fully present in her classroom! Along with that she is always continually developing professionally. She recently attended the NAEYC Conference for Early Childhood Educators! She continually puts her kiddos first and is a delight to those around her!

Our Lead Teacher of the Month is….Ms. Ashley!

Ms. Ashley is currently our Lead Teacher for our younger 4-year-old class! She has worked here at PRLP for 8 years now. Everyone around here knows if you don’t know something ask Ms. Ashley! Ms. Ashley is our fountain of knowledge if you don’t know something she will! Even if you just happen to stand in her class for only a moment the love and dedication she has for her students is palpable! Her class preparedness is something worth a round of applause! Her kiddos are continuously engaged with the incredible lessons and activities she plans. She is an amazing communicator and makes any and all parents feel like family! Ms. Ashley is an amazing team player and is always willing to help those around her! Along with volunteering and making any school function a party!

Ms. Ashley is definitely our little bundle of joy here at PRLP!

Ms. Tabia is our Assistant Teacher, to our 4-year-old class! She has been here at PRLP for 2 years now and is currently attending college at KSU! Though she is a permanent TA she is always willing to help out wherever we may need it! Her nurturing and kind spirit is something that you cannot miss! Ms. Tabia is someone we can always depend on for anything! She brings endless energy, fun, and creativity to the classroom and any classroom around her! No craft, lesson, or morning circle time would be the same without her!
She brings this positive energy to PRLP that we would hate to go without!

Trunk or Treat 2023: Complete ✅

WORLD CULTURE WEEK 🇯🇲
We love fall here at PRLP because it brings us so many fun events! Last week we celebrated World Culture Week!

Each class could choose a country/culture to honor and learn about for an entire week! Our kiddos had the opportunity to learn about cultures apart from their own. In some classes they were able to celebrate a country their teacher is from or the culture of a friend in their class!
We dressed up, we ate our different cultures' food, and we were able to share it with our PRLP families!

Thank you to everyone who could come to the parade. It was amazing to see you! Thank you to our parents for bringing all the different treats! We already cannot wait for WCD next year!

“Fun and interactive learning through soccer!”
We are so excited to be partnering with Kidz ‘n’ Kicks to bring our babies soccer!

Yesterday was their first official day of practice and our kiddos are loving it! They are currently learning how to dribble and what it means to “squish” the ball! 

It is going to be a great way for our kids to build connections with those in different classes than them and of course have fun! 

Through soccer, we have been working on our listening skills and balance. A session update will be sent to all participating parents after each class so you can get a glimpse into the objectives of class for the week! It serves as yet another great way for you to engage with your kiddos and be able to talk about what they did at school today! 

⛳️Fun fact: Kidz ‘n’ kicks is the only enrichment program in Atlanta that sends such updates! 😉

Yes we are back to school but that does not mean we aren't with all the shenanigans!

Our little ones love to find their friends' books and bring them home to read to see what they’re friends are reading with their families! So if you have any books at home you’d love to share, be sure to stop by our Book Exchange!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL📚
Our first day of the Academic School Year was a success! Along with our normal curriculum including Heggerty, Writing without Tears, and Phonics! We welcomed our students with some new editions to the curriculum. Frolic and Frenzy!

Fun Fact✨: Friendzy is our new Social Emotional Learning tool we are using this year. To help our littles work through all those big emotions and to have the tools in order to treat themselves and their friends better!
     

Even our babies get in on the Back to School action with our new baby friendly chapel curriculum, Frolic! They will get used to hearing the repetition of the names God and Jesus! And the fun stuffed animals that match our Bible stories! We have the pleasure of introducing your child to God and we are so honored!
