It’s the 6th annual Hangar Hangover Automotive & Aviation event!!! See World War II planes up close and personal. Watch as they take off, fly, land and yes rides are available all day. Meet some of the amazing pilots, hear from race car drivers and experts in the racing industry, as well as see their amazing track cars and more. Food and fun for the whole family at The Hangar Hangover!!!

A winning spirit!

In 2021, Wes was involved a bad accident and was burned on over 40% of his body. After getting his immediate care, he was referred to a specialist at the JMS Burn Centers, Inc. in Augusta, GA. However, driving from his home in middle Tennessee would have been a daunting task, and would require additional care for his kids.

Thankfully, not long after getting to JMS Burn Centers, Inc., Wes met another patient who told him all about our life-changing services! Now - with the help of our incredible volunteer pilots, we've coordinated over 150 mission flights for Wes on his road to recovery!

Greyson is one of the brave transplant patients that we serve!

At only 2 weeks old, Greyson was diagnosed with Alpha Antitrypsin - a genetic disorder that results in lung or liver disease. After receiving initial treatment locally in Atlanta, GA, Greyson's family was informed that he needed a liver transplant and was referred to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN.

Thankfully, doctors at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt mentioned our life-changing services and connected Greyson's family with us! We're so proud to be a part of Greyson's story, and we look forward to helping him every step of the way on his road to recovery!

National Tell a Joke Day!

Journey to Healing

Michael, a 37-year-old Iraqi war veteran, is striving to rebuild his life after sustaining third degree burns on 46% of his body, due to an apartment fire.

Thanks to our incredible volunteer pilots, Michael is able to travel from Bristol, TN to JMS Burn Centers, Inc. in Augusta, GA for essential treatment. This year alone, we have coordinated 38 missions to support Michael on his road to recovery.

Despite numerous surgeries and treatments, he remains optimistic for the future with the support of Angel Flight by his side.

A warriors' spirit!

During a routine check-up, 6-year-old Ava's bloodwork came back a little unusual. With this odd bloodwork, she was immediately referred locally to VCU Health in Virginia. After further testing, Ava's family was informed that she had cancer in her adrenal gland, and that she needed to see a specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Thankfully, nurse navigators and patient coordinators at VCU Health informed Ava and her family about our life-changing services. Now, Ava and her family do not have to worry about transportation, as they focus on Ava's health!

While Ava's treatment is aggressive, it is very successful in children. We hope that her new specialist will continue to help her improve and provide even more options to help Ava get well!

Elian is one of the brave children we serve!

At only 9 years old, Elian experienced bad burns across his arms and legs. After consulting with local doctors in Asheville, NC, Elian required specialized care, and was referred to the Joseph Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, GA.

Thankfully, Elian's family was also informed about our life-changing services! Now, with the help of our incredible volunteer pilots - we've coordinated 51 mission flights for Elian from Asheville to Augusta, and we'll be with him every step of the way on his journey to recovery!

Those In Need

Angel Flight Soars helps individuals who would not be able to receive treatment otherwise - even when it's available and covered by insurance. We coordinate Free air transportation when someone:
*Can't receive treatment locally
*Has a condition that prevents public exposure
*Has difficulty traveling by ground transportation
*Has an immune deficiency that prohibits commercial travel
*Can't spend a lengthy amount of time traveling

The majority of patients that we serve are referred directly by healthcare providers and/or medical facilities. We partner with pediatricians, doctor's offices, transplant organizations, cancer treatment centers and other healthcare organizations.

Kenley is one brave little angel!

In 2020, Kenley was in serious pain and went to her local doctor. Shortly after her visit, Kenley was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis at the age of 7. Pancreatitis is very rare in children, so she was immediately referred to a specialist at Cincinnati Children's. Currently, she has to undergo multiple surgeries to reshape her pancreas in the hope that it takes away some of her pain.

Thankfully, after scrolling through the Ronald McDonald House website, Kenley's mother saw our name and gave us a call! Now, with the help of incredible volunteer pilots like Steve, we're able to get Kenley from her home in Florence, SC to her regular treatments in Cincinnati, OH!

On the move!

Khristine is one of the brave breast cancer patients we serve! She requires regular treatment at City of Hope Atlanta, and it is a daunting drive from Rock Hill, SC to Newnan, GA! That's where the Angels jump in! Since 2021, we've coordinated 199 mission flights for Khristine, and we look forward to being with her every step of the way on her journey to recovery!

SC and TN Spark Some Good!

We are thrilled to announce that Walmart DC #8092 and Sam's Club #8142 in Spartanburg, SC, as well as Walmart Ooltewah, Walmart Franklin - Mallory Ln in TN have graciously provided grants to support Angel Flight Soars.

These funds will play a crucial role in our mission to coordinate flights for patients who require distant and specialized medical care. Thank you to these generous organizations for helping us make a difference in the lives of those in need. Together, we are truly sparking some good in our communities!

Happy 6 Year Anniversary Lilah!

Lilah began her journey with Angel Flight Soars in March of 2018 - needing a kidney and liver transplant. In July of 2018 we flew the donor and Lilah to receive the successful donation at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh!

This year, Lilah turns 9 years old and is the social butterfly her family dreamed her to be. Pictures are worth a thousand words and tell us the most amazing stories. We are overwhelmed with joy to be a part of her journey and to be able to share the story of her success!
