Dear Arts Boosters Parent Liaisons, Teachers, and Supporters,
I am extremely pleased to announce this slate of officers for the 2024-2025 school year:
Andrea Knight - President: In my day job, I am an attorney and I mediate issues in family law. Over the past 12 years I've been a volunteer at MJHS in a variety of roles including PTSA, Athletic Boosters and MJHS Swim+Dive. In June 2019, I was the founding president of the Arts Boosters. At that time, my role with Boosters focused on Visual Arts for my c/o 2022 student. When my c/o 2025 student arrived at MJHS, I began to volunteer with the theater department. During my final year as an MJHS parent, I look forward to helping Arts Boosters develop and move forward as an organization.
Rachel Ezzo – Treasurer: My name is Rachel Ezzo, I am the Senior Director of Development at Whitefoord, Inc., a local non-profit organization focused on health equity. I am a fundraiser and nonprofit professional by trade. My son, Adam, is an incoming 9th grader. I look forward to seeing what arts activities he joins at MJHS. He plays guitar and enjoys visual arts and graphic design.
Alexandra Lloyd – Secretary: I’m Alexandra Lloyd, and I’m a Technology Consultant at EY. I’m mom to a rising 11th grader, Jack Warner, and Afton Warner, a rising 9th grader. Jack plays cello in MJHS orchestra, and his sister Afton, plays the violin and has frequently practiced with the MJHS orchestra. Their other sibling, India Rose, is a violinist, and will join the MJHS family in the 2025-2026 school year. I’m accustomed to helping with our orchestra kids, and I’m delighted to be able to serve our Arts Booster committee in a more formal capacity.
We will have an Arts Boosters Membership Meeting on Zoom on April 30 at 7pm to elect these new officers. Please email [email protected] for the Zoom link (if you don't have it already.)
FYI - Only Arts Boosters members can vote. Here is the link for a Family Membership if you are not already a member: https://www.mjhsarts.org/store/p4/Family_Membership.html #/
We are very fortunate to have Andrea, Rachel, and Alexandra step forward, and current officers Christy Sloat, Debbie Cartee and I are grateful for their willingness to serve. Please support them, and share with anyone in your arts department who may be interested.
Thanks,
Greg Loughlin
