🏗️ PROJECT HIGHLIGHT🚧
Generation Atlanta is a multi-family luxury apartment building nuzzled next to the I-75/85 corridor in downtown Atlanta. A hop, a skip and a jump from its front doors can land you right in the heart of the city, with Centennial Park (along with its surrounding attractions), Georgia State University campus, the Mercedes Benz stadium and over 400 restaurants within the immediate surrounding area. While promoted as luxury, affordable housing was always a part of the building initiative, offering 34 affordable units in partnership with the City of Atlanta.
One of the more notable features of the building is what it was built with. The materials used to assemble the living spaces were done via 3D proprietary light-gauge steel system technology. The materials for 336 residential units were molded, cut and partially assembled offsite, shipped in and implemented piece-by-piece in a modular fashion. Generation Atlanta is presently the tallest building constructed with this process, which has been estimated to save 20-25% in cost versus traditional concrete framing. These cost savings have played a key factor in the pursuit of affordable housing in the city of Atlanta.

The construction industry is no stranger to risk, but what about the factors that impact a crew’s mental health and well-being? Issues like burnout and fatigue can lead to increased safety issues, lowered productivity and a decline in quality output.
A construction camera can help project managers spot risks that impact team wellness in three different ways:
🔴 MONITOR BURNOUT: 47% of construction workers say they’re stressed out, using a construction camera you can review footage to ensure regular breaks are happening at appropriate times.
🔆 PREPARE FOR WEATHER: Thousands of people die each year due to heat-related injuries and illness. When asphalt can hit over 300 degrees, you want to take the heat seriously. Track weather trends and ensure if there’s a heatwave, your team has more access to shade and water.
🏗️ TRACK EQUIPMENT: Injuries are more likely around heavy equipment, so use a construction camera that can alert you when cranes and more show up on site. Live visuals can ensure everyone is staying as safe as possible.
After helping an owner of a warehouse sell out tenant space, and recouping thousands for an investor in a separate project, Cameran’s ready to impress his next boss. Watch the interview to see why more than 5,000 clients have brought him onto their projects.
