You’ve heard that we are sponsoring a family of Afghan refugees to resettle in our area. Our greatest and most immediate need is housing. The need is 2+ BR with very reasonable rent since they have to find jobs, etc. It’s difficult for a traditional apartment complex to accept them because they don’t have credit, etc. If you have any ideas or connections for possible short or long-term housing, please let us know. Brian and Mala Lewis’s house burned this morning. It was a total loss. People have been asking how they can help. We’ve set up a fund where you can give to them through the church if you want. You can give by text at (706) 309-6187. Put in the dollar amount followed by “Lewis”. (For example, “$50 Lewis”).

Our service may be a little different than what you are used to. We have worship and prayer, open mic for testimonies, time in the Word, and then Table Time where we look at the scripture together to see what is saying to us.
