That’s What Friends Are For, Inc. will be hosting their big fundraising event of the year - 10-2:30 Sat. October 14th - Our own Dr. Kalyn White will be judging the Top Dog competition! Bring your pet and come out to help us support a great event for a great group of friends to furry things! 🐾🐾

Highland Goes Out to the Ballgame! We had so much fun at the Green Jackets Bark in the Park Event!!

We are going out to the ballgame!

Highland Animal Hospital staff members are venturing out into the community on Sunday, August 27 for BARK IN THE PARK during the Augusta Green Jackets vs Charleston RiverDogs baseball game. Our very own Dr. Phil Iverson will get the game started by throwing out the first pitch at 1:35pm.

During Bark in the Park day, dogs are welcome to come with you into the game and enjoy some dog-friendly activities right by your side. Bring your furry friend and meet us out there for a fun day at the ballpark.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY 🌸🌹🐾

UPDATE: After two weeks, we did not have anyone come forward to claim this fella. But his story still has a happy ending! He has a new name and a new home with another cat and several dogs. “Meathead” seems to be adjusting well to his new home and fur-siblings.

This sweet cat was found in a carrier in the middle of Wrightsboro Rd. Brought into Highland by a police officer this afternoon to be checked. Doing well. 👍 No chip.👎 We are hopeful that this was an accident, and the owner is desperately looking for this cute little green-eyed whisker face!! If you think you know this cat, please comment or call our offfice Monday. And Please share!!

Could you foster this cutie? She needs a new home by the end of March. Lady is a 7yr old spayed female Border Collie/Aussie Shepherd mix who loves to be outside. Walks well on a leash. Is up to date on shots. Has the most adorable grin and she’s a happy, loyal girl. Due to her breed-related personality traits, Lady will be best suited for a single dog home with no children or at least older children that will understand her boundaries. Lady is a gem waiting for the right person to take her home! Please call 706-736-1443 if you would like more information about Lady.
