A successful search and rescue does not begin when the Colorado National Guard receives a mission, it begins with the partnerships we have built with our community.

The Colorado Hoist Rescue Team met with civilian partners, last week, for their quarterly meeting.

These meetings help strengthen relationships and standardize procedures with our civilian counterparts. This ensures that when we get the call for a mission, the Colorado National Guard and the rescuers that we work with are fully prepared to focus on saving lives.

Full Details: The Army Finally Reveals Future Combat Fitness Test The Army announced Monday it will replace the current Army Physical Fitness Test with a new, more strenuous fitness eval.

DO YOU WANT TO BE A PILOT?

A Flight Board will be held January 2019, date TBD, at the Army Aviation Support Facility on Buckley Air Force Base to fill upcoming Flight School slots.

Minimum Documents and Requirements must be sent in the order listed below:

· Military Biography including point of contact information

· Minimum of 110 GT Score and passing score of 40 on the SIFT (provide documentation of a passing score in order to schedule a flight physical to SSG Powell: [email protected])

· Class 1 Flight Physical with FT Rucker approved stamp (allow 1-3 months processing time at FT Rucker) (just include the first page with the FT Rucker approved stamp on it for the board
packet)

· Copy of current APFT score card (DA Form 705) AGR within 6 months, M-Day within 12 months. Must have a score of 210 or higher (70 in each event). All applicants will take an APFT the morning of the flight board.

· Copy of current RCAS HT & WT History ( Attach a DD 5500, current within 6 months)

· Last three OERs/NCOERs (if applicable)

· ORB/ERB (if applicable)

· Two letters of recommendation from current chain of command

Applicants are required to be:
· Member of the Colorado Army National Guard (does not apply to ROTC)

· Must have a current Secret Security Clearance or interim

· Must be older than 18, but no older than 32 at the time of selection board

· ROTC Cadets– completed MSIII, and be within one year out from graduating with a B.S./B.A
