Revive Psychotherapy
psychotherapy for creatives, self explorers, the terminal, and you.
Hi, I’m Marci 👋🏻
I am an earned-secure attachment style, a business owner, a wifey, a mentor, a healing enthusiast, and a psychedelic explorer who borderlines on owning too many cats to be considered cool, even ironically.
My favorite identifiers are being an enneagram 4w3 and an Auntie. 💛
Like you, I regularly dream of getting a little more out of life, and like you, I get scared of looking like an absolute idiot and bail on those dreams. (shout out to the tennis instructor I bailed on that one time. Ok, three times😳)
Like you, I want to live a life that feels super authentic, purposeful, meaningful, and driven. I want these deep connections that align with my values and with people who really *get* me. And like you, I do things that are in direct opposition to that instinctual pull.
Liiiiike, take this instagram post, for example. Here I am, teaching my clients (and truly believing) that we don’t need to prove ourselves to others in order to be worthy. We are inherently worthy, and it’s from this knowingness and this deeper center that we end up proving ourselves– not to someone else, but to ourselves, with kindness and love. And also, here I am, on instagram, doing a metaphorical cartwheel on this strange-ass corner of the internet to try to convince an audience that ‘I’m not a regular therapist, I’m a cool therapist.’ 🤷🏻♀️
Like you, I live in the liminal space that shifts and changes and sometimes is SO CLEAR and sometimes so murky as I navigate the callings of the deepest parts of my soul along with the regular demands of life. And like you, I try to do all this while also being attuned to myself, connected to friends, highly successful in my business, and, if I could call in a special request, I’d like to look really cool, too.🕶️
Like you, I’m here to grow– everything. My whole life. And when I can get away from thinking about other people’s expectations of me, I’m not afraid to ask for more. Like you, I’m not afraid to go deep, to feel it, to heal it, to explore it, to explode it, because I know on the other side there is more.
Thanks for coming to my weird little corner of the internet. Let’s get deep.✌🏼
People who feel the gravitational/unexplainable pull towards self-exploration are my kind of people!
They know themselves– at least somewhat. They know their limitations and fears. They also know their capacity for greatness. They’re dreamers, achievers, and curious beings.
Does this resonate with you? Let’s deep dive! Fill out a consult form (link in bio) to join my waitlist.
Emotions are meant to move! When we’re sensitive and connected to a wide range of emotions, we have the tendency to accidentally get stuck in our emotions. This can look like over-identifying with our emotions, such as when you hear someone say something permanent about a temporary state. Example: “nothing ever works out for me, that’s why I’m depressed”.
Instead of recognizing the ebb and flow of our energetic states, we latch on to the most painful ones, and lose our sense of objectivity. Our job is to observe what emotion is here from a place of curiosity versus a state of identity. This creates the difference between “I notice heaviness in my chest today, a feeling of sorrow, and that my thoughts are looping in negativity” (curious observation) and, “I am depressed” (identity).
When we acknowledge our experience as temporary- even if recurrent!- it allows the mind and body to also acknowledge shifts or changes in our experience. Our emotions want to move through us, with our attention and help.

Such a punch in the feels, amiright!?
This is for the mavericks, the seekers, dreamers and achievers: I see you.
Anyone else familiar with this push-pull?
By definition, when we’re creative, we need to create an expression that is outside of the standard experience, right?
If we were making the same content as everyone else, we wouldn’t be creating, we’d be replicating.
But along with the thrill of creative expression, there is the bind of insecurity when we look around and see that we aren’t the same as others.
This complexity is the deep work I love to do with my clients so that they don't shrink back from their creative expression but rather lean into the truth of who they are while giving themselves the sense of belonging they seek outside of them.
The use of psychedelics in the healing space isn’t new, however, the scientific study of their effectiveness is– and it’s got promising results.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) can significantly reduce levels of Treatment Resistant Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, and chronic pain when traditional methods such as SSRIs and talk-therapy have failed.
KAP clients can expect an increase in their overall sense of well-being and emotional health after a series of treatments, so long as they are responsive to the medication.
Prescribed ketamine in a therapeutic setting with a trained professional can also provide the following for clients:
* Allow clients to go deeper and get more out of their sessions
* Increased insight and clarity
* Get “unstuck” in the places that they chronically return to
* Foster a healthier, stronger relationship within themselves
* Generate novel (creative) ideas or solutions
KAP is a safe, therapeutic, and effective way to address long-standing chronic mental health conditions as well as to process through tough emotional blocks. Fill out a consult form to schedule a time to hear more about what KAP can offer you. Link in bio!
Yall know I’m going to be straight with you: if we’re going to change our inner dialogue to one that's a “YAY!” vs a ‘nay’, we’re going to have to remind ourselves of it, often.
Change requires our consistent and deliberate choices: to be aware, to focus, to effort, to explore, and to be modeled for us, so we can integrate.
One of my absolute faaaaaavorite go-to’s when I need my inner voice to sound more like a #1 hype girl is to read any of Tara Brach’s books or put on her podcast. For me, she is the embodiment of what a loving, healthy, and kind inner narrative can sound like. When I hear the way she models her thoughts, and then practice it on myself, I can sense a shift towards expansion, wonder, and compassion.
Who do you turn to when you need to refresh your inner dialogue outside of therapy? LMK in the comments!
Ps. Ya girl is hoping on some podcasts soon. Deets to follow.
I work with those who know there’s more to life than what’s being offered– those who seek more, better, and deeper. I help the people who don’t take life at face value because there is SO MUCH DEPTH beneath the surface.
When you work with Revive, we explore together your depth from all angles: the depth of your thinking, emotions, imagination, insights, wisdom, and unconscious creations. A core value of Revive’s is that it is an honor to get to know ourselves on such an intimate level, and this respect is woven into not only the relationship between you and your therapist, but more importantly, between you and the parts of yourself that you are meeting.
What are you waiting for? Let’s take a deep dive.
When you work with me, you’re practicing multidimensional healing.
We work extensively with the mind, body, and spirit– both individually and collectively.
I offer a boutique therapeutic experience that is catered to a small case size so my energy, attention, and focus can be dedicated to you and your needs.
When is a good time to consider using psychedelics?
🌀Psychedelics are a great tool to utilize when we are stuck. This is when we’ve processed around an area and spent time exploring it both in our mind and in our body.
🌉Psychedelics help us to bridge the gap between knowing something in our minds and feeling it in our bodies.
💡Psychedelics help us to create novel ideas around a problem we’ve thought about many times before, and can allow us to see the issue in a new light.
🙏🏼Revive offers Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy to help you feel unstuck.
Ready to get started? Me too! 👋🏻
I love starting with new clients- it’s exciting, stimulating, and usually the sessions feel rewarding right off the bat– there’s something that feels SO GOOD about owning your story to another person. So if you’re considering starting therapy with me, let’s go over what all that entails.
First- go to my website and fill out a consultation form 🧑💻. This allows us to schedule a 15 minute phone call to see if we’re a good fit for one another, therapeutically. I’ll hear briefly about what’s bringing you into therapy, and will give you an idea of what our work together will look like. If that feels aligned, we will move forward with scheduling!
You’ll then schedule an introductory, or connection, session with me. ✨This is for you to come in, share in more depth what’s behind you seeking therapy, and to get a feel for me in the space and how I work. If we both agree we are a good fit, then at the end of the session we will find you a weekly recurrent appointment time for our future sessions.
By the end of session 2, you’ll have some feedback from me about our areas of focus- how I’m starting to conceptualize them, and how it lands with you- as well as your first homework assignment. 📚The homework is yours to own and to complete– you’re not in trouble if you don’t do it between sessions, however, therapy is much more efficient when you do.
From here, it’s weekly sessions for smooth sailing. ⛵️The length of time for weekly sessions varies for each person- though all start at a minimum of a few months. This is to ensure you are on a healing path and are integrating a solid foundation of our therapeutic work. Once you feel stabilized and able to complete therapeutic tasks outside of session, we can essentially pace our sessions to whatever suits you and your lifestyle.
I absolutely love what I do, and I earnestly look forward to connecting with people who feel the same pull towards self-exploration and deeper understanding. 💛If this sounds aligned to you, go to my website to fill out a consultation form so we can get started!

Want to introduce psychedelics into your psychotherapy? MJ is participating in the facilitation of Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy in a group setting this November. Reach out to her or the other facilitators before the 31st if interested.
This past week I completed Psychedelic Research & Training Institute (PRATI)’s Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy training in Colorado.
I question how to put into words what’s indescribable, so I’ll be succinct when I say the training for me was profound.
Practicing therapy for others during their ketamine experiences was a deep honor & soulful work: witnessing the images, messages, and healing obtained through psychedelic medicine sessions was soo inspiring ☀️ I cannot wait to share these experiences with my clients!
Info on what Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy is, how it works, and how to partake in it with me is coming to the website soon. In the meantime, reach out to me with any questions!
One year ago today a long term client of mine passed away. Without remembering the exact date of her transition, my body knew: I thought of & dreamt of her all week.
I am so thankful she chose me to sit with her with reverence and love, and to be with her as together we walked her home.
Tell me, what will you do to show up for yourself today?
breathing life into by reminding us that includes embracing and empowering ourselves, others, and all.
Inspiration and Monday mantra from my favorite instructor, . How easy is it to forget the wonderful moments life has to offer?
Self-validation doesn't always have to be validating the positive aspects of your life, it can also include validating the moments you also feel overworked, burnout or even validating the tougher moments in life where you need to take a step back and do some self-care.
Being gentle with yourself through all of life's moments, whether good, bad, big or small, is always important. Self-validation is a great way to practice being gentle.
