Such a GREAT day at the NEW DAY ADVENTURES IN RECOVERY - CLAY SHOOT!!! What an incredible organization with two of the very best people in the industry at the helm! Hensley House was proud and honored to sponsor this cause and this organization!
On top of that, Hensley House took home the first place trophy and we also took home the top shooter trophy! Helluva day with great people blasting clays together! Hard to beat y’all!

Our incredible neighbors smoked up some MEAN briskets and ribs for the fellas for Easter! Holy smokes is right! Absolutely delicious! Super super blessed to have the Hensley Houses in such an awesome neighborhood! Freakin delicious!! Happy Easter y’all!

Took the fellas out shooting and these guys certainly know their way around a shotgun! Just having a little fun in recovery engaging in the Hensley House pastime! Definitely our favorite hobby round these parts!�.

These fellas love them some Longhorn baseball!! Great day at the park watching the Horn win! Their bats were hot 🔥🔥 Wrapped up the evening with some drums and guitar on Rock Band- we’d call that a solid day enjoying our lives in recovery!!

Unbelievable day, one for the books, all thanks to The Prairie Recovery Center! I can’t even begin to describe the DEPTH of this amazing place! When I was describing all what they do to my wife I said, “Imagine if I thought most recovery spots were the equivalent to a beach in Galveston, and then suddenly, someone shows me a recovery center that was the equivalent to Bora Bora!” I didn’t even know treatment centers like this existed! Freakin WOW! If you haven’t already, you’ve gotta reach out to them and check it out! Just an unreal facility! And then to get to engage in an incredible afternoon hunt with these fine gents! Fantastic weekend with Hensley House guys and friends at this CHILLY 🥶 three day three game season opener for the Longhorns baseball team! The Horns won the series 2-1 and we got to watch a GIANT grand-slam dinger!!! Awesome action and camaraderie with a weekend full of sober fun!!

And when Santa squeezes his fat white ass down that chimney tonight, he’s gonna find the jolliest bunch of a$$holes this side of the nuthouse.

2023 Hensley House Second Season Dove Hunt!!
The guys got ON the dove this year!! Not a better way known to man to bond with your fellow man and engage in some incredible camaraderie. If you’ve ever wondered how is it that those Hensley House guys are so tight- this- this is how!�.

🤘🤘🤘STOKED to get to take so many Hensley House guys to all the Longhorn football games all season! And what an incredible season our Horns had! But most importantly- these guys getting to have this experience together and engage in the camaraderie while re-learning how to enoy life - especially live sporting events - without the need to be buzzed or high. Let’s just say that the word “special” is a serious understatement!

It’s a TOTAL blast getting to take guys from Hensley House to watch the Longhorns play!
These games used to be the perfect excuse to get drunk but now we can go and be present in the action - not in the beer line or in the bathroom (or not even making it past the tailgate party, been there done that.)
So stoked we can go and enjoy our lives and we don’t need to be buzzed or high!
At Hensley House we respect the disease and the program of recovery, AND we have an absolute BLAST in the process!!

Every year Hensley House and Not A Glum Lot team up for a fantastic weekend of dove hunting for opening season!
The unbreakable bonds and camaraderie formed on these weekends forever hold these men in friendship, recovery, and brotherhood. It is MUCH more than just a hunt!
