HNHN helps low-income households reduce their utility bills and increase their quality of life through green home repairs. Skilled green builders lead teams of volunteers to implement these projects, including weatherization and home gardening. Having learned these strategies, volunteers can take acon to reduce their bills, increase their health, and strengthen the neighborhood. HNHN partners with 1house at a time, the City of Austin, and the Austin Housing Repair Coalition.
