The International Trade Center recently awarded Commissioner Buckingham with the 2023 Zenith Award! This award centers around outstanding contributions to global and national economics, enhancing the quality of life across Texas!
Recently, Commissioner Buckingham joined County leaders for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate installation of permanent generators at the Wallis Fire Station, along with two lift stations and the wastewater treatment plant. The GLO granted the city of $427,602 to install these emergency power sources to mitigate the effects of power outages during storms like and the 2021 Winter Storm.
