It's a great weekend to explore the Boggy Creek Greenbelt Trail, a part of the planned 32+ mile Red Line Parkway! Check out this video preview by Austin Parks and Recreation Department of what you'll discover along the trail: https://loom.ly/90hBLO0

11/30/2023

Thank you for your support of the Red Line Parkway! You've helped get our region closer to completing a continuous walk/bike/roll/transit/park route from Downtown Austin to the northwestern edge of our region. We’re grateful to the donors who stepped up for GivingTuesday and donated a total of $1700.

Though we fell short of our $5000 goal, every dollar helps sustain our effort for another day to plan, fund, build, and activate the Red Line Parkway. So if you didn't get a chance to make a donation, you can still help us meet our annual fundraising needs by making a donation now.
https://loom.ly/4BwGw8o

Your support will ensure a solid foundation as we enter the immense work ahead of us in 2024:
• Securing the route for the Parkway,
• Expanding the community vision,
• Establishing more funding for continued construction,
• Installing wayfinding along existing on-street and trail segments, and
• Hosting more events along the Parkway.

Whether you donated for GivingTuesday, you recently donated, you are renewing your support, or you are a first time donor, you’ll feel the satisfaction of having supported the creation of one of our region’s treasured places!

11/28/2023

As this comes to a close, double your donation through a $5000 challenge match. Support our continued work into 2024 to complete the 32+ mile Red Line Parkway—a trail and linear park connecting dozens of neighborhoods along the CapMetro Red Line from Downtown Austin to Cedar Park to Leander. Donate at https://loom.ly/4BwGw8o or via our profile page.

In 2023, we’ve accomplished more for the Red Line Parkway than would be expected of a nonprofit our size:

• Plan: The CapMetro Red Line Trail Study is well underway, with the goal of identifying a trail alignment along the Red Line corridor.

• Fund: $11MM was approved by Travis County voters to construct a segment of the Red Line Parkway in one of the most challenging and least connected areas.

• Build: Parkway construction is underway at McKalla Station and just north of Kramer Lane, new signals are coming soon to 4th & I-35, and we've secured new easements for future Parkway segments. We began work on implementing wayfinding signage from Downtown Austin to Northern Walnut Creek Trail, and are on track for completion this winter.

• Activate: We hosted several events to bring people out to enjoy and learn about the Parkway, including tai chi, yoga, ice cream, and bike rides.

These are just some of the reasons to support the Red Line Parkway. Whatever reason you support the Red Line Parkway, we thank you. We count on you to sustain our work.

Whether you live in North Loop, Crestview, Leander, Rosewood, Downtown, Highland, Cherrywood, Hyde Park, Cedar Park, North Burnet, Wells Branch, North Austin, Skyview, Block House, Avery Ranch, Ridgetop, Lakeline, Govalle, East Cesar Chavez, The Domain, Chestnut, Forest Oaks, Mueller, Wooten, Rainey Street, Milwood, Northline, Walnut Crossing, or nearby, you’re supporting your neighborhood through the Red Line Parkway. Help create a neighborhood gathering space, green space, connector—a place to be, walk, bike, sit, breathe—a place for friends, family, dogs, neighbors.

Support Your Neighborhood with a donation to Red Line Parkway: https://loom.ly/4BwGw8o or via our profile page.

And if we missed your neighborhood in the list, please let us know!

11/28/2023

GivingTuesday began as a reflection that, in this time of year, we receive countless messages to spend more money on material goods. The message is a reminder to also support nonprofits that help to create and sustain the world you want to live in. For whatever reason(s) you support the Red Line Parkway, now is the time to renew that support with a donation.

Donate today, on GivingTuesday at https://loom.ly/4BwGw8o or via our profile page.

The Red Line Parkway is a growing place for us to experience our city and natural world, to share smiles and experiences, and to live our best lives. We count on your support to keep our effort going to plan, fund, build, and activate the Red Line Parkway.

11/27/2023

Thanks to a generous supporter, all donations for this will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $5000! Make a donation now in an amount that is meaningful to you, to help ensure that we reach this goal.
Help Us Reach $5000—donate at https://loom.ly/4BwGw8o or via our profile page.

If you’ve been holding off, now is the time and the season to make your donation to the Red Line Parkway. All of us working together can create the Red Line Parkway.
