As of this morning, we still have over 20 dogs without a kennel, and several more are paired up with dog friends. With the continued overcapacity of the shelter, we desperately need continued support from our community.

Update: In a foster home!

One hour until closing time, I don’t think anyone is coming for me 😔

My name is Blue and I’m in the 🆘URGENT LIST 💔 scheduled 8/5, 2 pm. The volunteers say I’m pretty amazing. I know sit and will sit at the door to go outside. They say I’m most likely house trained because I take care of business immediately and my kennel is clean. I did pull a little in the leash but I had to go! After that I just strolled on our walk. I was once a house dog. I was ready to go back in after the walk. And chill out in the lobby. We didn’t meet any dogs on our walk. But I pay no attention to my friends barking at me walking through the kennels. I wish my owner would come for me or a new family — quick. I don’t have much time.

Blue is a great dog, I saw him sitting patiently in the kennel waiting to go out. He was easy to slip the leash on and walk out. Will you help Blue seen? He has to have someone looking. He came in neutered and HW negative, but no chip. He’s not from Pasadena. He was found in the Sagemont area of Houston. Maybe his owner doesn’t know to look for him in Pasadena.
