Last Friday was a day of joy and connection at Austin Waldorf School!
Our 1st graders had an incredible time playing early childhood games with the 12th graders, followed by sharing a delicious popsicle treat together.
At Austin Waldorf, the bond between our youngest and oldest students is truly special. Throughout the year, our 12th graders and 1st graders come together to celebrate the beginning and end of their respective journeys. The 1st graders embark on their Waldorf adventure, while the 12th graders reflect on how far they’ve come as they near the completion of their own.
These moments of connection and mentorship are what make our community so unique.
The High School Volleyball team competed last weekend in the TAPPS Spikedown Tournament in Forth Worth, and they came home as Champions of the Bronze Bracket. Congratulations to the team!

Celebrating Kindness at Camp!
This Wednesday, we celebrated Camp Kindness Day with so much joy! As we soaked up the fun of camp life, we took a moment to ask our campers what kindness means to them. Their answers truly warmed our hearts:
For some, kindness is lending a helping hand to a friend who's feeling down. For others, it's about filling our camp with laughter and smiles, spreading happiness wherever we go. Many shared that seeing fellow campers and counselors cheer each other on and support one another is the ultimate act of kindness.
Now we want to hear from you! In the comments below, share what kindness means to you and your family. How do you spread kindness in your community? Let's inspire each other to make kindness a part of our everyday lives!

Austin Waldorf students study painting, ceramics, blacksmithing, sculpture, music, theater, and more as part of their required classes, not simply electives. The Arts are an integral part of learning that helps to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the world around them.
Our students use artistic representations of scientific concepts or historical events to help them better understand these topics.
Our alums note that their deep dive into the Arts helps them develop the ability to shape and perceive new ways of looking at both problems to solve, and opportunities to create in their fields.
