The Pittsburgh Ski Club fondly remembers their friend Jim Gallagher through the years! Always a friend, volunteer, skier and PSC Member. RIP Jim! We will miss you!

The Pittsburgh Ski Club is very sad to report the passing of their friend, Jim Gallagher. Jim passed away this morning, May 11, 2024. Jim , a long time member and volunteer of the PSC, most recently had been the Treasurer for 12 years. Prior to that, he also served as President, Treasurer, Vice President of Program, was on the Travel committee and was always a willing volunteer for the Club. Jim was an avid skier and went on multiple Club ski trips each year, many times as trip leader. He also attended many of the Club's social activities as well. He will be missed by the his many PSC friends. Our condolences go to Chris and family.
Rest in Peace, my friend. We will miss you.

Location: Evergreen Community Park, Ross Twp. (Pavilion & Building), 3430 Evergreen Road, Pittsburgh PA 15237
Cost: $10/PSC Members and BYOB (Bring your own Beverage -- i.e., beer, wine, soda, etc.) The PSC is picking up the cost of the caterer (approx. $25/person) and the pavilion/building rental cost.
$40/Non-Member and BYOB (Bring your own Beverage) -- But note: Memberships submitted and paid for in April/May 2024 will allow for member pricing on any PSC events during those months.

LET’S GET TOGETHER with our fellow ski club members to have a GOOD OLD TIME and "Catch the Spirit".
To keep costs down, EVERYONE is asked to BRING YOUR OWN BEVERAGE; also, this way, everyone can bring exactly what they like to drink. Water, ice, and cups as well as snacks (chips, pretzels, etc.) and paper products will be provided during the entire picnic. Dinner (which will consist of 3 hot entrees, 2 hot sides, and 2 cold salads) will be served beginning at 5:00 pm; there will also be cookies and cupcakes available after dinner for dessert. Music will also be provided. The Picnic will be held, rain or shine. The PSC has rented both the indoor building and the pavilion (feel free to bring your own chairs for the pavilion). Finally, NO ANIMALS are permitted in the Park. A Sign-up coupon is below.
BYOB: You will need to bring your own cooler (with your name on it) for your beverages. And, as NO GLASS is allowed in the Park, you may need to transfer wine or another beverage from a glass bottle into another container.
