We had a great time at the outdoor eclipse watch party today. The crescent moon was beautiful. We experienced it get dark outside during daylight and with this the temperature briefly went down which was to be expected with no sun shining. It got so dark the lights in the parking lot automatically turned on! Animals are impacted by the eclipse and during this time a local dog began barking. Pictured here is librarian Julia with Ali. Ali drove all the way from New York City not knowing anyone in the area because he wanted a good view of the eclipse. And he chose Baldwinsville. Another family was traveling from Canada and stopped in Baldwinsville at the library outside to watch it too. It was a very popular place to be. Julia was the most expert and entertaining host answering questions about the eclipse and just being a great person! Thank you Julia! ☀️
Sorry, we are out of eclipse glasses.

Bring something to sit on and please bring your own glasses to watch the eclipse as the library has none to give out. See you then. ☀️🕶️

Are there any other events you would like to recommend? They can be speakers or other types of events that people would find interesting, fun, informative or all three! You get it!
