💙When did you join the SBLC team?
September 2021

💙What is your role & what does a day in your role look like?
Interestingly, each day looks different for me based on the priorities and goals of the month. I usually start my day checking emails and responding to grantors, funders and staff members. My schedule is usually filled with support meetings, preparation for professional development workshops/staff/board meetings and check ins with learners and instructors. I also engage in data analysis each day especially areas that inform budgetary decisions.

💙What is your favorite thing about the work you do at SBLC?
I simply love to serve the learners and staff of SBLC. What excites me the most is building relationships with all SBLC community members.

💙Who or what motivates you?
I'm motivated by my children, source and my close knit group of friends. They inspire me in more ways than one.

💙What does lifelong learning look like in your own life?
Continuous professional development and lots of reading.

💙What's one thing about you that people might be surprised to learn?
That I have been a Pescatarian for 7 years and my favorite meal is a Poke Bowl.
