Our Story
The Association of College Pro-Activists serves as a Grassroots, rites-of-passage company- which promotes leadership within a given community, by developing curriculums for individuals to study. The effort was first inspired by a student of the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2015, who was seeking ways to further involve the millennial generation into the ongoing plights of Social Injustice.
Operating as an LLC, while serving as a non-profit organization, this company now offers a wide variety of means for individuals to help themselves become active and influential voices of society- learning to cultivate the leadership qualities they already exhibit within them, as well as how to ground these skills into proper foundations needed for sustainability. Our message is for society to become the change they wish to see, or as we have coined it- "Be the Resolution, Not the Revolution!"
Our current vision is to access as many schools, learners, residents and partnering chapters as possible- encouraging strong minds to become willing and capable leaders of this nation! We mimic the college platform, offering certifications in the degree of advocacy itself: certificate of arts or science. The talents and willingness of an incoming applicant are what speak to us most!
Our goal in using the project-based learning approach is to encourage incomers of our program(s) to produce at least one independent campaign upon their graduation, as a direct response to something these curriculums have inspired them to do. In such an culture, we begin ebbing away at the core impediments of growth, (stagnation), and begin progressing towards our two most essential goals: Sustainability and Reciprocity.
