We are currently broadcasting exclusively online. We are censor free and independently operated.

It’s the Great Pumpkin Concert, WMBC! 🎃
On October 18th, WMBC will be hosting its second ever station concert. Come join us for a night of cozy and melodic live music performances at 7:30pm, featuring:

Have you ever wanted to perform a Tiny Desk concert for NPR? If you haven’t heard already, WMBC is hosting our own Tiny Desk concert called “Off the Record,” and we want to hear from YOU! See the third slide for instructions to apply - the form is in our bio and Linktree. We can’t wait to witness all of the talent that UMBC and Baltimore have to offer.
Also, our DJ/Show Proposal Form is STILL OPEN! If you’re interested in hosting a music/talk show, voicing advertisements, or curating playlists for us, there’s still one week to submit using the form in our Linktree.

We couldn't let this NMF pass by without recognizing the 92-track album drop from classical music artists Johann Bach, Wolfgang Mozart, Ludwig Beethoven, and Frédéric Chopin. 🎶🎶🎶

The WMBC Staff wants to give another huge thank you to everyone who attended the GBM. The 40+ person turnout was absolutely surreal and we are so excited to see so much interest in the station! If you missed this week’s, don’t worry - we’ll have them every Monday from 6-8pm, so pop by whenever you can to get updates on our progress and to hang out. 💃🏻
Lastly, if you haven’t heard already… the WMBC Apprentice Form is live! If you want to help us revamp and run the station, let us know what you’re interested in and why with the form in our bio and Linktree. The submission deadline is September 18th, so be sure to get it in soon!
