Start with Self Care
These are challenging times. Finding moments of calm amid the demands of family, work, relationships and competing priorities can be hard. The modern world is fast-paced and demanding. To take care of others, you must take care of yourself. Your well-being is a priority.
Well-being starts with recognizing that our behaviors have a significant impact on our health and wellness. Itβs about adopting healthy habits such as adequate sleep, balanced diet and movement, while avoiding destructive habits such as to***co, drugs and alcohol.
Listen to your body. Know the signs of stress. And, ask for help before you think you need it. Keep an eye out for muscle tension, headaches, upset stomach or difficulty sleeping. Be compassionate with yourself, and with others.

The Turkey Trot has taken on a 'life of its own'. IT HAS GROWN SO MUCH in the last 3 years...and NONE of this could happen without my 'hoards' of volunteers, My corner people, Mary, Dean, Kimberly P, Lisha, Audrey, Owen, Apple, Giddien, Sarah and Larry, Sara K, Hadley and Callie! Jen and Julie checked YOU ALL IN...Rick, Tiffany, Sebastian (and a friend) held up the 'finish line', Jen took ALL the pictures, Meaghan, Drew and Olivia came early to help me set up. Jen, Steve and Katie came early...to help us prepare the food bank. Julia House has been my sweeper for COUNTLESS years. WE HAD A GREAT group of teens from Morse that did all the cheering when people finished...NO ONE wants to finish and have no one there! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! IT TAKES A VILLAGE and my village IS THE BEST! I had reports that some Bath residents even had signs outside along the route..THANK YOU!
