CVT welcomes Dr. Matthew Abate, Board Certified Vascular Surgeon back to Baton Rouge! He is originally from Lake Charles, LA and received his undergraduate degree from LSU Baton Rouge. He then moved to New Orleans where he received his medical degree from the LSU School of Medicine. He completed Vascular Surgery Residency in 2017 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. For the past 5 years he served on the medical staff of Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri. We are so happy to have Dr. Abate and in his family here with us at CVT, and back in his home state of Louisiana. 🥼🩺

He is originally from Detroit, MI where he received his medical degree from Wayne State University. He then completed a surgical internship at the University of Toledo Medical Center, a General Surgery Residency at the Homer Stryker Western Michigan School of Medicine, and completed his Vascular Surgery Fellowship from Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Mahmood is currently accepting new patients at all CVT locations. Welcome Dr. Mahmood to our CVT Family! 🥼🩺
