Today in Istrouma Kids we launched two new family resources for you to use at home! First is a monthly calendar with gospel centered prompts that follow along with our Bible story for the week. The second is a magnet frame and memory verse card to help kids and their family memorize our Bible verse for the month!
*Kids can return their calendar and recite their verses at church for a prize.*

Our hope and prayer is that these resources will be a blessing to families and equip parents to continue gospel conversations at home!

Join us this Sunday, August 11 for Welcome Back Sunday!
Kids will move to their new classes, we'll have donuts & Sunny D for breakfast, & some fun prizes for kids to take home.

We'll cap Welcome Back Sunday off with our KIDS Family Pool Party. The party will be held at Southern Oaks Pool, 5:30pm-7:30pm. The pool party is for families with babies-5th graders & is FREE.
*A parent or guardian (18 years old or older) must remain with children at all times.
**Concessions will be available for purchase (card only - no cash). Concessions include cokes, Icees, chips, candy, & ice cream sandwiches.

If you did not receive a postcard with your child's new class, we may not have the correct address on file for your family. You can email Jennifer at [email protected] to update your family's information. Your child's name tag will have their new class on it.

Make plans to join us THIS WEEK for 6th Grade Welcome!

Wednesday, July 31st from 6PM-9PM in the Student Building!

We will have dinner together say, “good-bye” to Kids Ministry/“hello” to Student Ministry, meet the Student staff, tour the Student Building, talk through the transition of moving into the Student Ministry and then have a time to pray over your child. After that, parents will be dismissed to go home, and kids will stay for games, activities, and tons of fun!

Parents can pick up from the Student Building at 9PM! This event is completely FREE, but please register ASAP so that we know how much food is needed!

Don't miss THIS SUNDAY, July 14! It is KIDS SUNDAY!

There will be no programming for kids who have completed Kindergarten-5th grade during the 10:30 service! We will all be in the worship service celebrating VBS, by singing VBS songs, recapping our week, seeing who the winner is of our missions offering contest and celebrating all that God did during VBS!

Immediately following the service, we will have lunch for kids and their families in the Kids Building as well as games and other VBS themed activities! We hope that you will make plans to join us on Kids Sunday!

Tomorrow over 700 kids across our campuses will hear the Gosepl truth… Everyone Needs Jesus!

Join us in praying for lives to be forever changed as kids hear and have a chance to respond to the Gospel tomorrow!
