4 years ago today…I sat anxiously in the surgical waiting room of MD Anderson. I wondered would the surgery be successful ? Did we have a future together? Would he be cured?
Today we stand together blessed, humbled and thankful to celebrate this anniversary. 4 years CURED.
The reason I continue the work of Garage 10. The place my passion began for creating a network to raise awareness and provide support for those walking the lonely and terrifying road of a rare diagnosis. Together we stand in the fight against rare disease.

🚗🚘Cash is battling a rare congenital metabolic disorder (CDG-PMM2) with incredible courage. He receives bi-weekly infusions and is currently undergoing evaluations for a liver transplant. Cash's journey includes routine travels from Portland to Seattle to visit his Metabolic geneticist and liver transplant team at Seattle Children's Hospital. He also has a dedicated team of doctors at Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland.
