Um, no. The new identity looks like a store-brand product now. The product design is nice, but the logo is too boring and lacks any "muscle." Might as well be a logo for handsoap.

Ballast Point Brewing Co.
This is a delicious brand of beers. Black Marlin Porter and Sculpin IPA are especially good. The rebrand certainly makes them feel a bit less "craft," but I think it's a good thing. I'm not a fan of people associating bad design with craft beer. This is an excellent rebrand, that is carried across all of the mediums, and will be easy to spot on the shelf!
