Art Unleashed

Hi friends! After a lot of thought and deliberation, and with heavy hearts, we have decided that the time has come for us to "hang up our scissors" and no longer put on our Art Unleashed retreats. Which means we are cancelling our upcoming fall event.

We want to thank you all for all the love and support throughout our journey, and we are so sad that we won't be able to see some of you as often as did! Between our busy schedules in Nebraska, our new business venture up here, and having Nicolynn in school and starting to get a busy schedule of her own....we just felt that this would be the best course of action for us and would allow us to have more time to be able to come down and attend some of our friends crops as crafters, as well as enjoy crafting for ourselves again. Christy will still be crafting on tik tok and sharing some of her fun projects with you all so make sure to keep an eye on her Facebook for future crafting links.

We are truly sad to see our retreats go but y'all have so many to choose from now that we know you all will be well taken care of! We love each and every one of you so much and we will do our best to keep in touch with you all!

I had to steal some of y'alls photos from facebook with our wonderful photo props because y'all took some awesome ones! I tried to grab some from each group that I could find but y'all add more here!!!!!! Also, I'm gunna need to some some of my photo bomb photos and Madame leotas! Lol

Now that we are home and recuperating from our trip....we wanted to THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU that attended our Haunted Mansion crop this past weekend! Truly we feel in our hearts that most of you are family more than friends at this point and we always love getting to catch up with you all! We also loved getting to know some of our new friends and we hope that you had a great time and return next year so that you become family too!

Somehow each crop becomes our new favorite every year even after doing these for 10+ years now! We are already in work mode for our next event which will be fall of '24!

Congratulations to all of our door prize and raffle ticket winners this weekend!

Also big shoutout to Roxanne, Rhonda Collums, and Tara Melancon Normand for always having our backs and being at the ready to help set up and break down all this craziness! And of course shout out to maw maw Libby Mire who made all of our auction layouts and did an amazing job with that, keeping Nicolynn and cleanup! We love you all!

We still have a few more calls into some hotels looking for room rates for you guys....in the mean time here are some other options that we have found for you guys....

IF YOU BOOK ONLINE a lot of the hotels are cheaper than if you call them directly. Here are some of the pricing options per night if you book online.

Quality Inn & Suites- $101
Hampton Inn- $101
Comfort Suites-$135
Home2 Suites-$147
Holiday Inn and Suites-$167

There is also the Legacy Suites in Donaldsonville if you are willing to drive about 20 minutes to the venue with an amazing rate of $94. This hotel looks pretty nice as well.

There are many other options on Hwy 30 but these are some that I have looked into for you! If one of the other hotels we have calls into gets back to us I will update that information as well!

Hotel Update for our Haunted Mansion Crop.....

We have been trying to get a room block for a few weeks now with local hotels on Hwy. 30 with no luck. Due to the Auburn/LSU game and some other sporting events that weekend, the room rates are high and they aren't wanting to give us any good room block rates.

If you are needing a hotel room for our event, you can book them at whichever hotel you would like so that you can have more of a choice in how much you are willing to pay for your room. There are a number of hotels on Hwy. 30 near Tanger Outlet Mall for you to choose from that are all relatively close to our event space. It looks like the going rate for that weekend is about $185 a night for the better hotels, but there are less desirable hotels/motels that may be cheaper in that area as well. We figure some of you may have hotel points that you might want to use to get your room rate cheaper or if you are coming with a group there may also be some Air bnbs in the area that you might want to look into as well.

Hopefully this will be a one time issue and we will attempt to get room blocks again for our next event.

Hello my beautiful scrapbooking ghouls!!!! Your invoices for the 2nd payment of The Haunted Mansion Crop have been sent out so check your emails! The due date on those is July 15th! The final payment will be sent out September 15th!

WOW!!! Y'all have out done past registration records with 60 people already signed up for our Haunted Mansion Crop! We still have a few people unpaid due to Jori's slip up so if you haven't paid yet check your emails for an invoice!

There is still time to register but we are filling up quickly so check with your table mates and make sure everyone signed up! We can't wait to see everyone!

BOOOO!!! Jori had the registration link in TEST MODE THIS MORNING BY ACCIDENT!!! I guess our ride was having technical difficulties and you all got to experience your first magical ride "walk off" 😜

IF YOU REGISTERED BEFORE 12:30pm today then I have you registered but not PAID as it was in test mode. Even if you put in your credit card information, we did not receive payment! I am sending out invoices now (give me a few mins there's a lot of you) to those that I do not have payments from, so if you receive an invoice from us, it is NOT SPAM! LOL

YOUR DOOM BUGGY AWAITS!

Exciting news about our next scrapbook retreat! ALL SCRAPBOOKERS PLEASE READ!

Due to renovations at our past venue we could not secure a date with the hotel which sent us on a search for a NEW VENUE! This was harder than you may think! Although our new venue is not in a hotel setting....we are excited to announce that it will be at the new VFW post on Church Point Road in Gonzales! This building is only 2 years old with plenty of parking almost double the space of our previous venue!

We will still be able to crop around the clock if you choose as Jori and Christy will be staying in the building. We are excited about this venue as it will allow us to be the only people there all weekend and will allow us to provide and do things for y'all that the hotel wouldn't allow us to do.

We know many of our customers live in the ascension/Baton Rouge area, but we will be trying to get a room block with a hotel in the Hwy 30/tanger area for our out of town peeps which is 5-7 mins from the venue.

Registration and more information to come next week but mark those calendars and grab your girlfriend groups because we will have plenty of space for large groups!!!! We can't wait to give you a tour of our HAUNTED MANSION!!!

Another crop has come and gone and Mom and I couldn't be more thankful for each and every one of our ladies! Y'all make doing what we do so enjoyable and fun! Our Murder Mystery crop will forever be one of my favorites and I know y'all won't forget this one for a while as well! 🫣

Day 1 of our murder mystery crop was a success! We had some thrills and some chills and we can't wait for more of our story to unfold tomorrow!

MURDER MYSTERY CROP UPDATE:

Final Payment invoices have been sent out! Check your emails if you were on payment plan.

There is still time to register for those that haven't.....BUT I will be placing the T-shirt order tomorrow so if you haven't registered yet but are planning too, please at least shoot me a message and let me know what T-shirt size to order you!

ATTENTION MURDER MYSTERY CROP MEMBERS...PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY!!!!!

Heyy My Scrappy Peeps! We hope the Holidays were joyous and the New Year is treating you well!

Our Murder Mystery Crop is right around the corner and we have a few reminders and information for you.....

1. THERE IS STILL TIME TO REGISTER! We have a few spots remaining, but we are starting to get our final preparations finished so please try to register as soon as possible if you haven't yet! Check on your peeps if you have registered and make sure everyone in your group is signed up already! If you are signing up now, please use the pay in full option as we will be sending out the final payment plans soon.

2. FINAL PAYMENT PLANS---Our final payment plan invoices will be sent out on January 15th. We still have a few 2nd payments not paid, so please check your emails as I am sending out reminder invoices to those people.

3. ROOM BLOCK----We have had several people asking about the room block codes not working and after speaking with the hotel we have discovered that all of the double rooms are full for our room block code and they cannot add more to the code. They still have a handful of king rooms available in the code (don't forget there is a sleeper sofa in the room, our you could bring air mattresses), OR your other option would be to reserve a double room at the normal cost. We tried to get more doubles added but the hotel won't budge on this.

We can't wait to see you all soon! Sharpen up those detective skills because you will definitely need them!

There is still time to sign up for our murder mystery crop! We are starting to get full so check with your table mates and make sure they are signed up. 2nd payment for payment plan option will go out Monday!

New layouts for sale!

These are $16 each and we have 5 of each kit. To order, comment on the picture of the kit you would like with your email and I'll send you an invoice. Invoices not paid within 5 days will result in the layout being back up for grabs!

Christy will be coming down to Louisiana later this week. If you would like to save on shipping then order and pay by Tuesday night. Libby will also visiting soon and will be returning back to Louisiana on the 15th of November and can bring them with her then.

If you want them shipped then shipping will be $7 up to two kits. For more than two we will combine shipping and invoice you an exact shipping fee.

When commenting on the kit you would like, Comment your email and bring or ship.
