It’s been a busy few weeks! Here’s a pic of the series, where we celebrate moving towards the light instead of the darkness- cards, notebooks, mini card, moth shaped gift card. All blue with a touch of tangy orange and mustard yellow.

New patch! Brown bat, from an original linocut transformed into an embroidered patch. Iron on - sew on. I think this would be perfect for a ball cap .



Is this a little brown bat or a big brown bat. Hmmm, could be either? I am not a Chiropterologist but I do love bats 🦇❤️🦇❤️🦇❤️🦇❤️🦇❤️🦇

Big brown bats can live 18-20 years in the wild. Little brown bats can eat up to 1,000 insects an hour!

Another card in the new moth series. You light up my life. For friends, lovers, pals, coworkers, everybody.

Every time I see this card, Debby Boone’s song gets stuck in my head. It came out when I was a kid and I must have sung it a lot because my grandmother would tease me about it. But she’d also sing it with me. My music taste has changed quite a bit since 1977 but that memory is sweet.

Busy few weeks!

So many blues! A N3W moth series just launched. In the spirit of moving towards the light instead of falling back to darkness. We all need a little light these days.

When I was in grad school for printmaking, during an end of semester review, a professor asked me why everything I made was in reds, oranges, and yellows. I replied, I don’t know but I guess those are the colors I am drawn to, the colors I envision and see in the work I want to make. He said, but you’re wearing all blue. I was! Blue shirt, blue jeans, and even blue sneakers. Guess I’ve always had a secret love with blue. 💙💙💙 color is awesome!

The cecropia moth is the largest moth in North America. Their wingspan can be as wide as 5”-7”!!! I haven’t seen one in person but hope to one day catch a glimpse of this magnificent beauty. Their sole purpose as an adult is to reproduce, they have no digestive system or mouthparts. Look up the cecropia caterpillar, they look like handblown glass sculptures. Nature is awesome.

I just got back from a weekend letterpress business retreat with 2 of my favorite people & So lucky to spend time talking shop and get re-energized! Plus saw my best friend from home, met the sweetest great-niece and she is absolutely great plus lots of family. Good trip.

Meet Charlie! Not sure I’m ready for a 3 dog household again but looks like he’s staying a while. 😊

picked him up on a gravel road in rural Arkansas a couple weeks ago. Very skinny and very sweet. We pulled off more than 100 ticks (no joke) and he happily let us. He’s eating well now and learning how to be a dog. 6 months-ish and bigger than Muddy. Muddy is starting to enjoy playing with him and Ava acts like he doesn’t exist. 🐕 or basically grumpy as usual haha.

Next in our NEW mini fold up card series. The snake 🐍. These little cards measure 3 3/4” x 2 1/2” and are blank inside. Perfect to go with a gift, in a lunchbox, in a book, and it can hold a gift card!

Really excited to share a project I worked on last year that is now out in the world. This Wild and Precious Life, a Mary Oliver journal. I made all the linocut illustrations inside!

Over 20 years ago I first learned of Mary Oliver’s poetry from my friend . If you know Mary Oliver’s work, you know the power in it. So when this opportunity came up I jumped at the chance to be a part of it. A great honor to do something associated with her work.

Yaaay! The chocolate bars are here!!! Dark chocolate with incredible letterpress printed packaging. And instead of breaking it up into equal pieces, it highlights our ridiculous gerrymandered political districts, but brilliant in a chocolate bar. And… yes, that’s my Louisiana district right there on the bar!
