Today, we celebrate and uplift the black and gold men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated on their 117th Anniversary!
Seven young men came together at Cornell University on December 4th, 1906 to build a brotherhood that not only supports and encourages black students to pursue higher education, but also focuses on serving the community.
Throughout its history, Alpha Phi Alpha has played a significant role in the civil rights movement and has been involved in various social and political initiatives aimed at addressing racial inequality. The fraternity carries the legacy of strong commitment to community service and continues to contribute to numerous charitable causes.
Happy Founders’ Day to our brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha!
Mu Zeta Spotlight Moments: “Let your achievements speak for themselves, and let others be proud of you.”
Please join us in congratulating these phenomenal ladies on their extraordinary achievements!
In 2022, 39 million people were living with HIV. Though this is a 38% decline in new HIV infections since 2010, the work doesn’t stop here!
UNAIDS has mobilized a strategy, “End Inequalities, End AIDS”, that uses an inequalities lens to close the gaps preventing progress to end AIDS and sets out bold new targets and policies to be reached by 2025 to propel new energy and commitment to ending AIDS. These include:
* Increasing availability, quality and suitability of services, for HIV treatment, testing and prevention, so that everyone is well-served
* Reform laws, policies and practices to tackle the stigma and exclusion faced by people living with HIV and by key and marginalized populations, so that everyone is shown respect and is welcomed
* Ensuring the sharing of technology to enable equal access to the best HIV science, between communities and between the Global South and North
AIDS has impacted our world to the tune of 40 million deaths over the past forty years. If the targets and commitments in the strategy are achieved, the number of people who would newly acquire HIV will decrease to less than 370,000 by 2025.
Sisters, this what can you do through your sphere of influence to ensure inequalities blocking progress are eradicated? By uniting together, change can happen if we want it to.

Happy !! This year we are calling on sorors and friends to join us in making a difference in the lives of others, by giving the gift of opportunity. Each year, the Zeta National Educational Foundation awards more than 15 scholarships to students in pursuit of higher education. Your support of ZNEF will help future engineers, teachers, doctors, scientists, business leaders, attorneys, and advocates receive the financial assistance needed to complete degree programs that pave the way for successful careers.
On this day of giving, let’s make a difference by giving the gift of opportunity - helping students realize their dreams of a college education.

Happy 112th Founders’ Day to the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.
On November 17, 1911, Omega Psi Phi was founded on four principles that edify what it means to build up manhood, thrive in scholarship, persevere, and uplift other men and communities around them.
Continuing a legacy of greatness since inception, they continue to exemplify these principles from Canada to Bermuda, Germany to Panama, with over 750 chapters impacting and transforming each country they tract.
Today, we celebrate and uplift the royal blue and gold with our sisters of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, on their 101st Anniversary!
Seven educators came together at Butler University on November 12, 1922, to build a sorority that not only supports and encourages black women to pursue higher education but also focuses on serving the black community. We love that they are resoundingly consistent about service, rolling up their sleeves and going into communities to get work done.
Happy Founders' Day!

November is Native American Heritage Month, also known as American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. This observance commemorates the diverse cultures and history of Indigenous Americans and serves as a vital educational opportunity on topics that specifically affect Indigenous people.
Zeta Phi Beta shines a light on the importance of their legacy and continued impact on American history and culture. We are proud to celebrate our Sorors of indigenous heritage and their contributions that are integral to the beautiful tapestry of diversity that comprises our Sisterhood.
October 29, 2023: Our Inaugural Member Orientation was a success! The dialogue was top tier, and the sisterly love flowed throughout the entire event. We would like to thank Madam First VP,
E. Renee Smith, and the Membership Committee for the wealth of knowledge poured into all who attended. In the words of Past International President, Mary Breaux Wright, a good Zeta is a well-informed Zeta.
As we close out Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the good fight continues for so many warriors. We recognize the survivors, while uplifting those in love and light who are still walking the journey to ring your bell. Understand you are not alone. 💙💕

Domestic violence is the use of physical force to control and torture a partner, spouse, and children. We wear purple to bring awareness and show support for DV victims and survivors. “It’s not the bruises on the body that hurt the most. It is the wounds of the heart and the scars on the mind.” Protect yourself - break the cycle of abuse.
