Cashier's Check: The most common and hassle-free option. Get one from your local bank or credit union. Just ensure you know the exact amount and payee details. 🏦

Certified Check: Another secure option available at your bank. It's a reliable alternative to cashier's checks. ✔️

Wire Transfer: Need flexibility? Opt for a wire transfer. Plan ahead as processing may take a few days. Always double-check the recipient details with your lender and title company to avoid fraud. 🔄

Remember, the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) you paid earlier in the process will go toward your closing costs. Cash, credit/debit cards, or personal checks are usually not accepted for real estate closings. 💸

last Thursday at noon I got the 911 call from an agent that a deal they had going on with a lender out of Town in another state (online lender) was falling apart and has been going on since March??? Say What??? I had them fill out my app asap - I was getting ready to leave for an overnight. The client filled it out and send me everything, I got everything in while away from work. My processor submitted the loan to Underwriting last Friday. Last evening at 5:15 my underwriter cleared the loan to close. Keep in mind this was a 740 score borrower putting 20% down.

We have a duty to our borrowers, and sellers to do right by them. The first step that should be made is buyers agent get them to use local, sellers agent accept only local lenders. I am really frustrated to see the pain and anguish and anxiety that buyers and sellers are going through for no reason. we all need to change the narrative and do what is right for our clients.
